My wife and I went for dinner on Wednesday the 21st, we ordered queso fundido for appetizer and it was just like a cheese melted in a microwave, my wife had the chile relleno for dinner, chile rellenos were not covered in the egg battered it was just plain, I ordered tacos al pastor dinner, the rice was very cold and the flavor was not Mexican at all, taste like white rice with tomato coloring, tacos al pastor doesn’t taste al pastor at all they tasted just like boiled pork, salsas are watering and flavorless. Sorry guys for the review but you need to improve your food quality and authenticity of Mexican food. Las Cazuelitas restaurant is much better, you should ask them for the salsa recipes.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Antigua Mexican Grill and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The food was excellent, with authentic flavors that truly represented the richness of Mexican cuisine.The standout dish for me was the Torta Chilanga. It was very good, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures that left me wanting more. It's clear that a lot of thought and care goes into preparing this dish.The service was also commendable, with the staff being attentive and ensuring that we had a great dining experience.I highly recommend Antigua Mexican Grill to anyone looking for a fantastic Mexican meal. Can't wait to visit again!

Do not order the chimichanga .... the cheese is hard ontop and no longer smothers the burrito.... the cheese isn't even edible anymore ?
Fajitas were delicious!! I asked for a sangria margarita (not on the menu)... it was perfect! Wonderful dinner... thank you!

Omg! Daisy made the absolute best drinks ever! I told her to make me something pretty and strong and she delivered!!! Jessie was my waitress and she was pretty, pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu! I’m definitely coming back. I try a lot of Mexican restaurants in Crystal Lake and this one tops the list!!

Ordered from here for dinner, and we received the wrong dish. Furthermore, our other meals were missing items, and everything was thrown together, so everything arrived jumbled and spilled.
