While I can appreciate the whole farm to table thing, charging $22 for a burger is absurd, especially when it comes out overcooked and dry!! Service was good, and atmosphere was alright, kind of a typical vibe these days, but disappointing meal.

Came in on a Saturday night with my wife, and found a couple of seats at the bar. We liked the decor and were very impressed by the beer list and the menu seemed to have some great offerings even though it was on the pricey side. What really turned us off and gave a 2 star review was the bar staff. They were very inattentive we sat with empty glasses while we watched the 3 people behind the bar look at our empties as they would walk by. It became apparent very quickly that the bar staff was more interested in taking shots with each other rather than tending to customers. We had enough after about 20 minutes of waiting for a refill even though it had at-least 6 open seats at the bar. We finally got asked if we needed anything my a female bartender named Richie, we told her we wanted another round but it took so long we decided to just get the check. She seemed to be overly intoxicated and rudely stated they were busy and maybe find a different place to have a drink next time. We will take the advice, terrible staff, we will never be back

Server took forever to provide water. Took forever to take our order and when taking our order kept interrupting it became a frustrating process. We order a medium rare burger and the stroganoff after waiting over an hour and seeing others that came in after us receive their order, we just got up and left First time the service sucked!

Food: Amazing Appetizer,, sadly it was all we got to eat! Service: Trash. Inexperienced staff. Very short and not personable at all. Waited over an hour in between our appetizer and had to leave to go back to work before we got our entrees. After flagging down the server, he said "I'm not going to lie, it's going to be at least another 15-20 minutes". We would have stayed if communication regarding the wait times for food was communicated at first. We sat down for almost 1.5 hours with no entree. Nothing offered for basically being forgotten about during the rush besides a mere apology...It happens, i understand but will not come back for dine in and will tell others not to at least for lunch either.

Ate again there last week - Dukes has best food for price by wide margin in all of Crystal Lake, Cary and Algonquin - server had table upstairs a party of 11 and literally ignored us the entire time sitting at two top at the bar - worst ignore job I've ever seen in the restaurant business!
