The waiter never gave us silverware until we finally asked ,did not give napkins, did not give much ice for our cold drink did not come to check to see how we were doing The food was horrible I got a taco salad there was no flavor to it very plain will not go to this place again... We had to leave our seat to ask for things basic things that we needed at our table.

I'll start with the good. Walked in and was served immediately. I was getting a to go order of a burrito and fries. Food was prepared quickly and the restaurant seemed to be a nice place to grab a bite to eat & a drink, but didn't stay. The not so good. The server that handed me my food, not the same person who had taken the order, was rude. I was sitting at the to go high top potentially waiting. I was the only one at this table. She yelled out "Yo"! and handed me the bag, and immediately turned around to walk away. No "thank you" or making sure what I'd ordered was correct. The bad. The burrito barely had any steak inside. Seriously like maybe four small pieces. It was stuffed with just the fillers, beans, rice etc. No sour-cream as ordered and the order of fries was a kids size at best. I was seeking a burrito like El Paraiso in Elgin has but was in Crystal Lake. It would've been worth the drive to Elgin. Much bigger burritos, large order of fries and includes a drink at El Paraiso. Can't recommend El Burrito Crystal Lake.

Burrito, rice and beans is delicious! Good authentic Mexican food. I wish they gave you a larger chips and salsa when you dine in.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love the beans and rice and tacos.

This was my favorite Mexican place in CL since the 90s, but they continuously fill orders very incorrectly. I order cheese, I get chicken. I'm done with them. Also, no green/red sauce included with order.

Got the nachos, chicken burrito and steak burrito. Firstly, even if you ask for no beans, you'll get beans. The nachos were tasty....the burritos weren't. The meat in both had a fishy taste. The veggies were old. It was not tasty. Will not be coming back.

Good mexican food the torta Cubana are good and if you like hot sauce, ask for "Diablo salsa" is spicy but good flavor I recommend this place for a good mexican food and always a good service and very friendly
Ordered a steak burrito only rice and cheese. They did not give me any steak. I ordered a steak burrito with rice and cheese only. Not just a burrito with rice and cheese. That’s like going to McDonald’s and ordering a cheeseburger only ketchup and mustard and you only get a bun with ketchup and mustard! Wake up and learn how to process and make orders properly!!!
