I came here to eat with my family this past weekend and here's my review of Kirin King. Going to their website I was extremely excited that they offer hot pot and BBQ! WOOT! When we arrived that was not the case what so ever. The hot pot/bbq side of the restaurant is not open and I wouldn't hold your breath to be honest as I peaked into there and it wasn't even close to being finished. We decided to eat dinner there and once you walk through the old revolving door you're greeted with a giant fish tank that semi-clean semi dirty. It's not really appealing when you're about to sit down to eat. Then you look around and it's like you're placed back in time with the decor of yester-years. We were escorted to a different room and that's where the sushi train was but it wasn't even running. Strike 2.We get seated and I tell our waitress we're ready to order. However, I felt there was a bit of a language barrier and she couldn't fully understand my request. Normally this isn't a problem but when my daughter is allergic to nuts it's extremely important that she and the kitchen understands that there is no miscommunication or cross contamination as instead of simply ordering dinner we'll instead be ordering a funeral with a hearse.I tell our waitress that I'd like to order the chicken fried rice for my kids and that there should be no nuts or peanuts. She gives me a 100-yard steer and is looking at me like I'm a Martian. It was like I was speaking an alien language to her. This is extremely concerning when someone has a deadly allergy to something. It made my daughter so nervous that she refused to eat the fried rice, and honestly I don't blame her!Service was extremely lacking at this restaurant and I observed numerous tables trying flag down their server. The food is great, the atmosphere is so-so and the service is just terrible. Will I be back? I don't know as I really wanted hot pot but again who knows when that will open. I'll probably just order to go for now as I have no interests in seeing the atmosphere or experiencing the service.

This by far was the worst food i have had. I got a menu and had to order because they had salt and pepper fish. Who uses catfish for salt and pepper fish? The fish tastes soo dry just had one bite and had to throw it away. I also ordered the bbq pork fried rice… they just put white rice and pork in it. That was it i had to call them. If you want flavor and good food this is not the place.

We received the menu for Kirin King in the mail which had us fairly excited for a place we haven't tried yet. It is relatively close to where we live so a new Asian restaurant with take out options was already a plus. I will say that the location and layout of the restaurant is slightly confusing, when you enter you enter into the "bar/dance floor?" Area and to your right is a section with the rotating sushi belt and a few tables. Once we got to the dining room we were greeted and seated. The energy was quiet ar first but as soon as it filled with dinner guests it was vibrant and fun. It was a tough situation for us deciding between the all you can eat sushi menu or the standard Asian fare. However, I was so impressed with the different types of food they offered. From the standard fried rice and chow mein to assorted ramens and pho and habachi! We will definitely have to come back to try the latter. We asked our waiter to see if there was a way to do the AYCE but also order the family style dishes. And surprisingly you can! (Some places we've been to only allow the AYCE if everyone gets it) he shared that the rules were no sharing, etc etc. which makes complete sense! So, we ordered a handful of rolls while the other half of the table ordered fried rice, a beef dish, and noodles. The sushi did take a slightly longer time to prepare but it arrived beautifully on one of the boats! After everything, we saw that there was ice cream that was included on the all you can eat menu, so we had to get a couple scoops! All of the food was absolutely delicious and for the price we will most certainly be back! (They're also working on a K-BBQ/Hot pot section to the left which I am so stoked for because we don't have any in the area!)

Went here for my birthday. Food was not good. We ordered 4 different dishes to all share. Too much sodium food cold. Best thing was the egg rolls. Sorry one and done. Can't believe all the good reviews. Even the rice was dry and stale.

We absolutely love everything about Kirin king. The staff is wonderful, the food is amazing, best crab Rangoon I have ever had. The prices are good. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant, I hope it succeeds!

This place was horrible. I ordered online. I walked in and no one was there. I had to search the restaurant to find an employee. Finally found one only to discover they never received the online order. So I placed a new order and had to wait 30 min to get it. Then the food was terrible. We ordered pot stickers which were way over cooked and basically inedible. Also ordered Kung Pao chicken and didn't care for the taste. I love this dish at other restaurants. Also ordered Tuna Nigiri was wafer thin.

We visited yesterday for lunch. The service was really great. The food was much better quality than I expected. I had their Fat Boy Poke Bowl with fresh tuna and salmon. It also had some shrimp that was firm but not overcooked. The toppings were fresh and tasty. They very thinly slice their peppers which made for a delightful bite without scorching my mouth. We also tried their hibachi steak and the honey chicken. The kids loved the hibachi steak. The meat was flavorful and came with vegetables. The honey chicken came with only a small garnish of beautifully steamed broccoli. I would've eaten a lot more of the broccoli. You can tell the chicken was prepared when we order it. It definitely wasn't sitting around in a holding area waiting for someone to order it.They brought us a bowl of edamame to snack on while our food was being prepared and it was fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back.

Amazing food and great service. So many choices...highly recommend viewing menu online before going to restaurant. Been here several times and every meal has been fabulous. We've tried several rolls; godzilla, Las Vegas, & garden to name a few, wonton & wonton noodle soups, lo mein, egg rolls, potstickers, fried rice, crab rangoon, Korean beef, and others! All were great!
