just ate here and it was absolutely incredible. The wait staff were very energetic and outgoing as well as helpful. The food was delicious and the portions very large. their salsa and horchata are my favorites out of everywhere I have been. I also loved the mariachi music and the overall atmosphere. for sure a 10/10

We went here because of the glowing reviews and photos I was seeing in previous reviews. It certainly was not our experience? I ordered ground beef enchiladas and a pork tamale and rice, I got two chicken enchiladas and a lonely tamale lying on the plate without garnish or corn husk or sauce of cheese?? They brought me the two ground beef enchiladas on a separate plate but left the chicken enchiladas on the original plate with the Lonely tamale so I did the transfer myself? My husband ordered the shrimp tacos they were on street sized tortillas so they were small(3). The mild sauce is very mild and bland? They have no Queso to dip chips in as in most places? I’ve been hunting for a good place for Tex Mex style food, a previous review said they found this place to be that… I didn’t. The margarita was good! Sorry…

The food portion here was very generous! 4 meals for me, the price was more than reasonable. Service was great. Menu was fantastic, snagged a carry out on the way out. Last but not least the food was super! This will be my go to place anytime I am in Crystal Lake! Thanks!

Ordered take out. Food was cold when we arrived home 5 minutes later. The worst part of my meal was the sharp bones in the Chili Rellanos dinner I order. Lots of shards of sharp what looked to be chicken bones in my food. They may have been in the sauce or the stuffed peppers. Albeit the dinner was ruined. All the food is bland except for the chicken tamales that are so spicy hot you have to take it out of your mouth. My wife had the ground beef tacos and the meat was tasteless and like gravel. The $13 worth of stale chips and really spicy vinegar laden salsa was certainly not worth it. Really sad to get bad food.

Second day this week I'm there at slots and I get kicked out at 9pm. When usually they close at 10pm... and when you go online it says 10pm as well. They should change the hours online atleast. people pulling up thinking it's still open.

Authentic Mexican cuisine. Food is delicious, I've tried most of the menu margaritas and staff are wonderful..
Both burritos were a little soggy. Taco dinner was good though.Other reviews have mentioned sogginess as well.
