Found a Starbucks in downtown Crystal Lake, so I decided to come here for breakfast before heading to the airport for my flight to Fort Wayne, Indiana. I always loved the vibe of Starbucks and it was empty enough to where I could secure a seat after purchasing my trenta black tea lemonade. I arrived here on a brisk Monday late April 2024 morning at around 6:15am, after my friend dropped me off before she headed to work. It was nice and warm, when the weather was chill outside. There was a couple of people ahead of me, so I waited my time to order up a trenta black tea lemonade. Starbucks is known for their coffees and frappuchinos, but I ended up getting their handcrafted ice teas. While Starbucks can be expensive, it's a lifestyle for most people who live for this stuff, myself included. The ambiance of this Starbucks, like many standalone stores, is an oasis for many. I love the fact that you can enjoy your purchase and hang out or work on your mobile device online with wifi. The place is clean and typical of what you'd find at a Starbucks store. For myself though, I had brought my leftovers from dinner the night before and paired it with the aforementioned trenta black tea for an ideal pairing for breakfast. I probably spent about 1 1/2 hours here just enjoying the small town ambiance Crystal Lake provides before calling an Uber to take me to Chicago O Hare that morning. I enjoyed every bit of the experience here. Wish more experiences was like that, but then again, I'd have to sit at Starbucks more. The overall experience here at this Starbucks in downtown Crystal Lake, Illinois was very pleasant. I sat near the entrance, so it was close to the parking lot for my Uber pick up spot. Plus, the restroom facilities were on that side of the building as well. The baristas were friendly and courteous, so that's always good, especially on the mornings. The entire ordering process took about 5 minutes from ordering to pick up, which was quite fast. The entire Starbucks was clean and very immaculate. I would definitely recommend coming to this Starbucks, if they are in the area or just passing thru. This just might be the only Starbucks location in Crystal Lake, Illinois, but I am not sure. I am thankful that they are here, since I usually try to find one on every trip. The wifi was pretty strong that morning, so I got some things done while I was there, including downloading my boarding pass on my mobile device and other whimsical things like being updated on the local and national news of the day. With that in mind, Starbucks is usually a daily thing for me and vacationing in Crystal Lake, Illinois is included. Thankfully I found one wandering around the day before, so I could come here the next day for my daily fix. If you are in the area and need your daily fix, consider this Starbucks in downtown Crystal Lake. This Starbucks store is located in downtown Crystal Lake, Illinois. It's physically located at 40 N Williams Street, Crystal Lake, Illinois. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's a generous parking options near by, so that's a good thing, especially in the morning. I was dropped off by my friend who lives in Crystal Lake and picked up by an Uber that morning. The prices here were pretty good, compared to my hometown of Honolulu, so I saved a little bit, but not by much. Their menu is mostly drinks, which isn't surprising, but they always have baked goods to compliment your drink(s) of choice. For the most part though, it was nice to come here to have leftovers from last night and indulge in my Starbucks drink of choice. Relax in the delicious ambiance that Starbucks provides and you'll be good with what life throws at you. Most of the time at least. My time here at this Starbucks was enjoyable and hope yours will be too. 4.5 stars for the overall experience. 3.5 stars for the pricing but everything else was 5.0 stars. Support local! B+

The food, as well as the people that I have spoken to have all been great. But today I stopped in to quickly use the bathroom, (as I work a job that has me in a truck, running routes all day), only to find that they have put keypad locks on the bathroom doors, and they stay locked. Whoever thought this idea was a good one, you’re wrong. Making basic human functions harder for your customers will cause quite a few of them to completely lose interest in your location. We have plenty of other Starbucks nearby to go to. And we have other High-quality coffee options in the area as well, aside from Starbucks. I look forward to the day when they decide to make their bathrooms reasonably accessible again.

Came here after my daughter and her friend finished a summer class as a treat. Place was clean. We were greeted promptly. Was able to find a spot to sit outside and people watch while the girls chatted. I would come back when in the downtown area.

2022- Same as before but we aren't able to online order during events. Our wait was fine and our order was wrong but they were super busy. Ill give them a pass. The drink was still good!!2018-Did an online order and the wait was a little longer than I was told. Service was still friendly. The extra wait was from the event going on downtown and they were extra busy.
