Best pea soup on earth. Owned by the kindest woman alive she is a gem, so is the café.

Ate there and it was a joke. The portion was so small I left hungry. I ordered chicken salad on a pita, there was no chicken salad and they charged extra for the pita. Never again.

My husband said I don't feel like making breakfast, I'm going to order something.. Well he made a great choice.. The food was delicious ? I had a spinach & cheese omelette & pancakes he had a skillet. Next time we will have to dine in. Can't wait to try something else. It was our 1st time eating here & it will not be our last!!

We love breakfast at Tony's but I was a bit rushed last week so I tried the takeout for lunch. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious as always. Tony's is a local treasure.

Great family restaurant. Owner can be a little cantankerous but it adds to the charm.
I want to love this place - super cute - great menu (no GF pancakes) but my breakfast tacos were bland & cold - coffee was weak - they overheated the corn tortillas to the point the were hard in a bad way - salsa verde from husbands meal helped - I will try again but not to hopeful.Dietary restrictions: Were able to accommodate GF food options

What a wonderful breakfast , lunch place... cute little diner Bobbie and John are wonderful hosts. The food was amazing and at reasonable price. This is are second time here and they really do make you feel home. Can't beat the breakfast $8 for two eggs, hash browns and toast or pancakes. I had the avocado stuffed with chicken salad, cottage cheese, and fresh fruit. The chicken salad is homemade and delicious. I highly recommend this place for service, price and atmosphere

BEST brunch spot in all of Mchenry County hands down! Service is always great, awesome staff & the food is of course all delicious. My top two recommendations are their Mushroom & Swiss burger and their Stuffed Potato Pancake (so-soo good i had to include a picture of all the deliciousness in between the two potato pancakes) ?
Excellent food and service.
