After hearing multiple individuals discuss the goodness of the bbq from this place, I wanted to give it a try. I saw the food truck and stopped to order the chicken wings, fries, and greens. Admittedly, I was disappointed in the overall taste of the food. The chicken seemed to be cooked in old grease, (notice dark tips & dark spots), and it was over-cooked. Some parts of the wings were inedible because they were too hard and pointy. The sauce was fine, but could have been better, and the greens were not good to me at all which was another disappointment.

I'm pretty sure this place is fake. Directions take you to a run down house in a sketchy neighborhood. The phone # also has a weird message. Not a business. Don't waste your time.

Great food that will make your mouth water when you see it. I always stop in when I'm home. I just wish Bud would consider visiting Chicago, and did a set up : )
Wonderful rib tips, and pulled pork sandwich. The fries were large and fresh from the fryer, and were perfect with the rich pork. The rib tips especially could transform to amazing if the sauce was placed on the side and drizzled onto the meat (just my personal preference). For me the sauce slathered over the top just masked the wonderfully crisp, and smokey rib tips. Bud's is definitely worth a return trip!
