Went to visit University Dogs while in Decatur for work. Ordered a steamed chicago style hot dog and small order of fries. The service and atmosphere of the place was pretty nice. The hot dog was pretty tasty. The only complaint I have regarding this place is that the fries are not that good unfortunately. But I would definitely recommend the Chicago style hot dog.

I've never been here before, but my brother is a regular customer. I recommend this place over a particular place (that apparently thinks it's okay to harass customers) downtown. Good customer service!

I ordered an Italian beef for almost $12 and they gave me very little beef. It barley filled the bread. I placed a fake take off order but I still felt like I should leave a review as well. If I left a tip maybe it would be bigger

Saturated small tacos in oil, fries were Saturated and not cooked. Grilled hot dog was as burnt as hockey puck. Very over priced. Should probably have 2 kids turn 16 before running the food shop.

Went there once, as a trial run, and sadly, I didn't feel that it lived up to the hype of other reviews. The food was just meh. The Chicago dogs were not all that. I think Tastys Chicago Grill does better. Overpriced as well. And the Mexican Coke I tried out of curiosity was horrible. I couldn't finish more than one sip. The service was good, dgmw. But the food? Overpriced, and nothing special.

Not what it once was. Chicago dog was good. Burger was smaller than it used to be and overcooked. Fries were cooked so long that they were dried out inside. Soda fountain was out of three flavors. Took about 40 minutes to get food. Not a good experience.
Excellent Italian Beefs! The best for over 100 miles! Owner is friendly and upbeat! First time we sat inside. Very clean and well kept up! Will make the hour drive many times in the future!

I had the worst Italian sausage sandwich of my life here earlier this week! What kind of Chicago style place serves an Italian sausage on a poppy seed bun?!? So disappointed: Italian sausage with peppers, small fries and a fountain drink....14.50!! I won't be back!!

Pretty awesome. The service was great, the food is nicely priced, the online ordering worked seamlessly, I genuinely am left with 0 complaints. As a college student, I'm always looking for a quick bite at a nice price and the fact I was able to get a chili cheese dog, an order of disaster fries (that's just their name and they are amazing), and a can of pop with it just being a little over $10 was great. High quality food at reasonable price.
