It is sad they are closing. Their food is incredible. We even got their pork chops to go with sautéed spinach and garlic potatoes and it was cooked to perfection. We got our son a steak with veggies and it was cooked perfect and he devoured their asparagus and the garlic potatoes. Their steak tartar is the best in area with a raw quail egg. Their boiled octopus is so delicate and flavorful. We ordered the caprese salad too without balsamic because I'm allergic and they made a mistake and brought it out with but quickly corrected. Their drinks are strong and big too. Nice spot but they lost some of their charm. Service has slipped -silverware wasn't clean, bathroom floor super sticky and etc. Very expensive for what you are getting in my opinion or what you get but my mom likes the spot. Not worth the $200 plus dinner in my opinion. Have high chairs but not very kid friendly spot.

Went here for the first time for dinner with a friend. Great ambience, good cocktails, our server was great who had amazing recommendations across drinks, food, was very courteous & prompt. Food looked nice but was fairly high on salt for my friend & I. I couldn't eat beyond 4 bites. My friend was ok finishing his entree. I'll go there again because overall I liked the place... Perhaps I'll forewarn while placing the order to go easy on salt.
The food was great as usual. But despite having a reservation, we were initially stuck in the far back rum in a corner with very little space between us and the adjoining table. We were eventually moved to the main room but it took forever to arrange.Also we were very disappointed to see Foie Gras on the menu for obvious reasons. Not sure if my wife is going to agree to come back again because of that.

Cavatelli contadina was almost perfect; I wish I could give 4.5. The cavatelli was exactly how I want a thick, fresh pasta to taste. The sauce was good, fennel and garlic forward; the shiitake mushrooms are not what I would have expected in this dish, but I enjoyed them there. My only criticism is that it was a bit too salty, probably due to the pancetta.

I was at the dinner party at Bobby’s restaurant last Friday celebrating one of my friends birthday. Food and drinks were okay. Not excellent considering the price but ok. It is management rudeness and unprofessionalism that I witnessed(not happened with me but with one of my friends) made me to write this review. One of the manager or he was a security guy(he has never introduced himself) was extremely rude, he ruined our party completely. I just hope that owners of the restaurant read this review and take appropriate actions. As for me and my friends we will never going to this restaurant again. And I will make sure to share this terrible experience with all my friends and acquaintances.

I am writing this review and still in shock and unable to process what happen on last Friday night at our party. Everything was great, food, service, etc. All my friends had a great time until, I assume, it was the restaurant's manager, came to one of our guests Mark and very rudely demanded that he paid $80 cover charge for drinking alcohol from the water bottle he "brought" with him.Mark NEVER drinks hard liquor only wine which is what he ordered that night as always. His wife wasn't feeling well didn't drink at all! The manager came to them directly, threw an empty water bottle on the table calming he has a video of Mark throwing this bottle in the trash outside of the restaurant!!! This video he showed us had NO image of Mark carrying a bottle in his hands!In any case, the manager's rudeness, unprofessionalism in the way he handled the situation was outrages. He was yelling and screaming at us, telling us he will call the police. Even if he had a reason (which he DID NOT!) this situation could have been handled discretely. Instead, he escalated the situation to the point that Mark, his wife and most of our guests were in the verge of tears!All of my friends at the party came to America about 35 years ago, all have successful careers. We all speak Russian, but all immigrated from Ukraine. I don't know if this person had something against us, but it sure felt like he made personal. We never felt so humiliated and discriminated like we did last night!I was the responsible for any additional charges/issues for the party and they confirmed that with me before the party started. We had multiple birthday parties at Bobby's before and I was astonished how we were treated for just a pitiful amount of money ($80) when we spent way over $1000 that night!Instead of having a great memory of this special evening of my husband 65th birthday all we will remember is the way we were treated and humiliated at the end. It's a shame!We always enjoy Bobby's, but after this incident none of us and anyone we know will dine in Bobby's Deerfield again.
