It was awesome India the server made sure our 40th wedding anniversary was as great as could be She was tremendous along with the food She made me look really good in front of of my wife for taking her there as a treat!
My wife and I visited for the first time in years, after moving from the North Shore, for her birthday. The space had been favorably renovated since we were last in attendance. The server was attentive. The coleslaw and barbecue chicken were good. No more bread basket. The creamed spinach was flavor free and they skimped on the cheese. The ribs were burned and required the supplied serrated knife. Certainly not “fall off the bone”. The commentary dessert was tasty, with poor presentation. Not the Carson's ribs we remembered so well. We of course could not tell if this was a one-time occurrence but we will not be back to find out. Sad.

It was our first time here, we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. The wait was not bad, even without reservations. The atmosphere was so relaxing and comfortable that it felt like home. The servers were friendly and very helpful. The food... oh my goodness... it was so delicious and delightful, you really have to try it. This place is nestled away in Northbrook, but is easy to get to. Trust me, try this place!

Excellent food and staff. It's just so noisy! p.s. the tirimisu that night was dry, but waiter promptly removed from bill.
Ordered the Prime Rib sandwich. Prime rib had a good flavor but was VERY FATTY. Not worth $30. My twice baked potato was very dry and cold, almost like it was day or two old. Service at the small bar was terrific.

This was my first experience at Carson's. Carson's is a nice steakhouse, I was there on a Sunday and it was packed. There was a small bump in the overall experience but Carson's made up for it in the end. The crab cake was outstanding. I had the filet mignon that was cooked perfectly and actually had more taste than normal when it comes to that type of cut of meat. We will be back.

I ordered prime rib sandwich and they brought me a prime rib dinner. They recommended the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. My husband ordered it but it was mediocre. I'd recommend Carsons for ribs.
So we arrived early to have a couple of drinks at the bar before dinner. We were told at the host stand we cannot . The bar seats are all reserved for people to have dinner. They don't offer pre dinner cocktails at the bar. I feel this is ridiculous. I will enjoy other restaurants that are pre dinner friendly.
We enjoyed our dinners very much. My husband had a barbecue combo, ribs and brisket. Delicious. I enjoyed a prime rib sandwich, it was great. We had spinach and potatoes au gratin as shared sides. They coleslaw is best !
Carson's is my go to restaurant when I feel like delicious steak or ribs. I've been dining there since I was a child and honestly, you can dine anywhere you like but, no one can touch Carson's for their delicious food and generous portions.

There isn't anything about this establishment that I don't love. The building, the owners, the staff, and of course the food (probably should have mentioned that first). Best. Restaurant. Bar. Ever.

Wonderful experience. We always love dining at Carson‘s. The food is always high-quality and professionally prepared. Their barbecue sauce is unique and adds great flavor to any of the dishes. Service is always professional and attentive. The ambience is excellent. Wonderful place to relax, have a good meal, have a great cocktail, and enjoy the evening.
