Food was amazing and quick. Inside pretty plain but prices very reasonable. I have gone back a few times. Staff very welcoming. Near Stan's donuts so dessert is a few steps away.

Delicious food and great service. Awesome vegetarian options; I highly recommend the tofu pad Thai! I will definitely be back to try new items on the menu!

Wow! Fantastic husband and wife duo making everything from scratch. So, if you’re wondering why the curries here taste so good, it’s because they make the base themselves - it’s not a canned/premade shortcut.Really really good; also they’re super friendly - don’t let the unassuming building fool you, this place packs the flavor.

Absolutely my favorite Thai restaurant, just about anywhere, ever! The owners are lovely, accommodating and friendly people who I look forward to visiting when I come pick up my food. The food is very well spiced and never too greasy. Good hefty (but not grotesque) portions and fair prices. Love Bangkok Belly!

Best Thai in Des Plaines! Super nice people, great Kee Mao and the most amazing spring rolls. Usually we get this delivered and everything is hot and crispy.

I know this will spark debate, but I wanted to try pineapple with my fried rice, so that's what I did. The flavor of the dish is spot on; it has savory notes from the curry powder, sweetness from the pineapple, and nice, but there is a few aspect of it that I don't enjoy. The pork and chicken were dry and difficult to eat. I just hope I don't get sick because of the one piece of pork that had a sour aftertaste. The pineapple was undoubtedly canned because some of the slices had a strange flavor and some were sweet.Their dessert, which came in two portions of banana sticky rice, is the one thing I enjoy eating. It's a simple but tasty dish made of sticky rice with a fresh banana filling and wrapped in a banana leaves. The sticky rice was fragile and gooey at the same time. The banana filling was tender; it also had an undertone of sweetness. The texture of the bean is somewhat solid.

We ordered the curry fried rice, pad see ew noodles, and seafood tom yum soup. The food was packed full of flavors and the portion was big. The pad see ew and fried rice has a nice charred flavor. The tom yum soup was perfect for the weather, hot and spicy. We will be coming back soon!

I've ordered from BB previously and the food was okay, but tonight my chicken pad Thai had no sauce, and the chicken was dry and flavorless. We ordered the Shanghai shrimp noodles for my husband and they were subpar, at best. I won't be getting anything from Bangkok Belly again anytime soon.

Simple decor, lovely owners, great food. We were customers when the last couple that owned this place were in charge. We’re worried when it changed hands but the current owners are great, food is still great. Very reasonable prices. A terrific mom and pop stop for all your favorite Thai dishes. If you haven’t been, check them out. You won’t be disappointed!

Always consistently delicious! Have been coming to this particular location for probably 9 years. Food is clean and fresh with more than enough for one portions. Restaurant is always clean and I/we are always greeted warmly.

I went into the restaurant, ordered a few foods, and went to the bathroom to wash my hands. After i saw this toilet, I really just wanted to run away. The lady (she served, too) who owned the restaurant was neither friendly nor unfriendly.Food tastes very cheap and low quality. Salty nor very sweet, tastes less.Pad thai tastes like ketchup i could only taste ketchup. Noodle was very much overcooked. This was my first time eating Thai food like this.

not too sure why this place isn't atleast 3.8 stars but pad thai is really good, it's down the street from my house and they give you a good amount for $13. very flavorful and the veggies are fresh.
