I wanted some Filipino Bangus sisig and they have it in their menu! I wanted to try differently than the one at Pinoy Grill. I was seated, and I was the only one there, they have menu by QR code (I see menus on the other table) apparently, the physical menu does not reflect current prices, lots of pen corrections. I ordered, and it took a long time. The server disappeared and the chef started to wait on us (at this time there was another customer). He was apologetic and friendly. I asked for some condiments for the miswa to enhance the flavor. With the bangus sisig, meat and cuts were chunky—not to my liking but the flavor was okay. I ordered garlic rice and I had to ask for it again, eventually I asked for the garlic rice to just be regular rice as it will still need to be cooked. The chef was apologetic, he offered a free appetizer, it was good. There were other customers that came in the restaurant that I notices, however, since there was no one present at the desk and the server has not returned, the customer left. When it was time for me to check out, I was asked to tip and to tip with cash since if I tip with my card it will not go anywhere. This is by the lady who now has appeared after all this time. I told her how she was gone and left and the service was no to par.It the establishments duty to give the tip to their staff when tipped by card. This place has deteriorated, I am sorry.

My family and I happened to this quaint restaurant by accident. We originally we looking to eat some Japanese food then decided to try something different. The owner, Linda greeted us warmly and made our entire eating experience personable and warm. The food was to die for, it reminded me of my mom's home cooking which I haven't had in a long time. We had the fried chicken with the garlic FRIED rice (Extremely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). We also had the Lumpia Shanghai which my girls promptly devoured. We also had the fried chicken (full one... should have ordered the half one, but we got the full one).... it was delicious and my girls loved it!!!! We hope to come here again to try the Tocino and Longanisa and the Spaghetti. We couldn't finish the Kaldereta, so we had it the to go and dropped it off to my mom who said wow!! The girls also had the Halo Halo which they also drank on the way to Grandmas!Prices range from $$ to $$$. So bring your wallets.Highly Recommended. We will eat there again. When dining there, if you are not into OX-tail, promptly ask them to give you beef cubes instead which they will serve when asked.

We went there and the staff seems to be gathering in the table just chatting. The service was slow even if we were the only ones in there. We ordered something and waited a long time only to be told that it isn’t available. People go in and out of, we assume, is the kitchen which makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the food prepared and served.

I stumbled onto this establishment by chance. It was highlighted in the explore section of my Google Maps. I conducted some research on their menu, and the photographs from the reviewer look promising. In addition, I've never tried Filipino food. It inspires me incentive to try it.The mood is upbeat, and the walls are covered with wonderful colorful graffiti artwork of a town in the Philippines. I figured they had a live band on some days because they have a small stage setup in the corner close to the kitchen entrance. I can only image how much fun it will be.I had a voracious appetite. I ordered two appetizers, the first of which was their lumpiang shanghai. The simplest way to describe the food is a Filipino style egg roll. Keep in mind that it comes in 12 pieces, which may seem like a lot but they are little bite size. What bothers me is the uniformity of the size; the length of the egg rolls varies; some are well packed with ingredients, while others have barely any. The fillings were bland, and it was blessed that there was a sweet chili sauce to accompany them. The second appetizer I ordered their pork siopao. The steamed bun was scorching hot when it arrived. The size is enormous, comparable to a grapefruit. The steamed bun has a fluffy texture and a light sweet flavor. The filling features a flavorful brown gravy with tender pork pieces. The hoisan sauce on the side adds a touch of sweetness and saltiness. In my perspective, the steamed bun is sufficient on its own.The main dish I ordered the tagalog beef steak. On the surface, it appears to be scrumptious. But the first bite disappointed me. Because it seemed the chef utilized too much soy sauce and lemon juice. I'm not shocked it's very salty and sour. I'm not sure what it's meant to taste like, however I do know my taste buds despise it taste. I'm glad they gave white rice with the dish since it helped me get through it because the rice has a little sweet taste to balance out the flavor of the steak. I forgot to note that the steak is overcooked, which makes it tough and chewy.I chose the small portion of halo halo delight for dessert. It was served in an attractive glass to highlight the gelatin, condensed milk, shaved ice, beans, and silky ice cream. When it arrived at my table, it appeared to have been prefabricated a long time ago because to the diluted effect of the shaved ice. It tasted refreshing, but I had to stop after two bites since I saw a hair.I quickly motioned for the personnel to come over and explain what had transpired. She apologized immediately and offered to make me another one for free. I decline their offer because I need to return to my workplace. I applaud their ability to handle the problem admirably.

Terrible food and service. Food not appetizing at all. Place may have potential if they up their service and change their cook. Been to a lot of Filipino resto in the area but this by far is the worst. Mas masarap at mabilis at ang turo turo dun sa sariling atin

We had a pleasant dining experience with both the food and the service. Although there was a slight delay in receiving our dishes, the staff was very apologetic and generously offered complimentary drinks and sides. While I'm not from the Philippines and can't speak to authenticity, it was clear that the food was of high quality and prepared with great care.

Order three dinners an appetizer and Halo Halo (pretty much ice) from Uber Eats. They didn't include any of the rice for any of the dinners. I called the restaurant and the woman told me it was unbelievable, that she had packed it herself. I told her there were three bags and none of them had rice in them. Her response was "What do you want me to do about it?" So rude. If I were going to lie about not receiving something it wouldn't be about rice! Lumpia was greasy and disgusting. Every bite of food had bits of bone in them. $60 wasted! I should've checked reviews first.

I remember this place was very nice one with the Previous Ownership. We used to celebrate our son's 16th birthday party here because he likes Filipino cuisine and the owner was very nice and accommodating. I previously highly recommend and considered as one of my instant dining place whenever I am not able to do home cooking. But, yesterday was an awful experience with the New Ownership. First when we entered the place I got disgusted already of a cigarette smoke smell. My husband said he doesn't recognized anyone it's kinda different people there but I just thought that the owner is on vacation but i notced they rearranged the set up.While waiting, we heard everyone is like talking loud, arguing as in "magulo". We ordered lumpia, shrimp sinigang, pork sisig, dinuguan and laing but not available. Each order we've waited for almost or half an hour and it was served one by one. Imagine how much time our toddler have to wait for his "supposedly" sinigang soup after long day playing in a cold weather.I can tell that They really don't know what they're doing. They're not prepared to start even a karinderya yet. And I heard the woman must be the new owner, that she got interviewed in abc5 about the restaurant and I was wondering which food did you let them try ??heck! Nothing tasted right.*Shrimp sinigang, I was expecting of fresh shelled shrimp but it's not it's frozen. It's very sour like they used the whole package of sinigang mix to a bowl of soup.*lumpiang Shanghai, was crispy but it's very salty.* fried garlic rice. It was my first time to try sticky garlic fried rice and it's an "X" to me.*Pork Sisig, was not done right. Tastes bland . I guess they run out of salt coz they used all in their lumpia.*Pork dinuguan, disgusted me! I can already tell that it's not done right when the server was approaching coz I can smell it. Smells bad. I didn't even dared to taste it coz I know that I won't be able to hold my stomach. We just ask the server for to go boxes then packed the food and shoot in the garbage.I always support Filipino places but the new Kusina de Manila really need to be fixed otherwise , I don't know how long they will gonna survive. It will be embarrassing to recommend them for now.

New Owners, have no idea what they’re doing. they’re serving food with questionable ingredients. food they serve is either spoiled, old or just bad. This place is nowhere near what it used to be. I’d drive 15mins to Niles where there are good Filipino restaurants.
