Our first time, was brought for an early Mother's Day celebration. Very impressed with the place, service and variety of food offered.
My inaugural visit to this establishment instantly catapulted it to the top of my favorites list! The interior décor is simply spectacular—a captivating blend of vintage and modern styles that exude charm at every turn.We indulged in a variety of dishes to share, including octopus, flatbread, and scallops (photos attached), all of which left us thoroughly impressed. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving us craving more.The atmosphere was equally delightful, with just the right balance of music—neither too loud nor too quiet, setting the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience.In summary, this place is truly wonderful, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a culinary adventure paired with stunning views.

Very popular large hip restaurant in an old Lutheran Church on the lake in DesPlaines. Vibrant, loud club music with well prepared Mediterranean dishes & cocktails. Unique desserts and flavors
First off- this venue is stunning! It's such a beautiful space, it's well lit, each seating space is cozy, and they even have a place for your purse or bag or hat! The food, just incredible. We started with appetizers and kept adding more. Then skipped straight to dessert! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.Parking: There is a valet, I would definitely recommend using it, parking otherwise can be quite a hike.Wheelchair accessibility: It's a flat, wide space, the bathrooms are roomy and wide to accommodate a wheelchair or walker. I would recommend mentioning to the host that you need an accessible table, so they can seat you appropriately, and not in the way back of the restaurant. ( which is far from the restrooms/exit)
Beautiful place! Great people but can get very busy. In any case it was a great time and I highly recommend it. Will go again!

Great experience here celebrating a birthday--oddly, it seems like that's what everyone else was there to do as well, judging by the sheer number of sparklers we saw come out of the kitchen. One thing to note is that several of the 2-top tables are under a low alcove to one side of the main room, so you do miss out on some of the grandness of the space. But the quality of the food and service meant we'll definitely be back.
Been trying to get a hold of someone since April 21st regarding hosting a privet party but can’t seem to get any info. I have called, emailed and been there in person I keep getting the run around. I’m hoping this review will get me a call back. Will remove once I get a response. Thanks

Honestly Foxtail has become one of the best restaurants in the suburbs. Feels like you’re downtown Chicago on the lake. Great menu, everything is so delicious. Staff is great!Just overall highly recommended.
