“I love ❤️ Ron's Red Bird Café ... well worth the drive... in fact the drive is what gets one ready to prepare what the have from their selection to choose from... my favorite is the WESTERN OMELET with salsa and sour creme... gotta love them as well as the positive staff... simply put, good old small town environment and feel... I wish Carlinville had one... surely it would be a win-win for all... Y'all take care now!“

“Great little cafe! We stopped by on the way out of town after a camping event, and I was hoping to find a nice little diner. This place did not disappoint! Parking lot was PACKED, which is always an excellent sign. We were seated fairly quickly (5-10 minutes with a packed house), and after ordering it didn't take more than 10 minutes to get our breakfast. Skillet was delicious, with the eggs on point (no overcooked over-easy eggs for me!), the drink refills were plentiful, and the sausage gravy tasted like ACTUAL sausage gravy. The decor is a little all over the place, but the quirkiness is a whole vibe. 5 stars.“

“All coffee is roasted on site. I love coming in when the roaster is on. The smell will drive you mad. The pastries are always delicious. The best thing are the company and excellent conversations! I highly recommend this excellent small town treasure!“
