Read about this place on one of the pursuing pork tenderloin Facebook groups. While the tenderloin was more like a battered pork chop sandwich, not my favorite but my guy really enjoyed it, the hand battered buffalo cauliflower was to die for. It was large pieces in delicious crunch batter and served with ranch. That was my favorite!

I had noticed this restaurant and bar in my GPS several times, and since I had my wife with me, I thought today would be a good day to stop by and try it out. It is literally out in the country in the middle of Walton, which you could miss if you blink while driving through it.Décor wise, this place is classic backwoods lodge - it has light plank paneling all over the walls and ceilings, with the usual obligatory beer signs scattered around the place. There are two gaming areas, 3 games in the northwest corner, and 3 more in the southeast corner. They are the usual slot machines and a bill breaker / cash out / redemption unit. They also had a TouchTunes Jukebox near the southeast corner. For a Friday around lunch time, the place was fairly busy. I was attracted to both the Prime Rib Sandwich special, which came with potato salad and a dessert (a nice piece of cake) or their 3 chicken strip lunch. I asked the waitress which was better - she was a steak fan so she recommended and I went with the Prime Rib Sandwich. My wife went with the 3 chicken strip lunch with potato salad as well.Where to start? I guess with the Prime Rib Sandwich. It was thinly sliced Prime Rib with cheese on top. It came with a dish of au jus as well. It was on thickly sliced bread, and to be honest, it was darn good for $12. The potato salad was also tasty. My wife's eyes widened when the chicken strips arrived - they were HUGE. She managed to get through 1 and 3/4 and asked me if I wanted the rest of them, so naturally I said yes. The chicken tasted good and the ranch dressing provided for dip was tasty as well.I was going back to work, so I had a Root Beer and she had an iced tea.The Mens room was nice and clean and smelled clean. Tables and seating were clean and orderly. TVs were in the area, and service was good overall.
