Terrible service. Got seated, then ignored for almost 15 minutes. Finally got up and left, and drive over to Lemont Street Cafe where I had a scrumptious waffle combo which was also $3 cheaper than the one on Honey Jam’s menu. Sorta glad they blew me off so I could discover Lemont Street Cafe!

The restaurant currently going through a remodel, not loud or dirty but minimal ambiance. Family friendly. Family of 7 and never have waited over 20 minutes on weekends and never waited on weekday.

While the renovations have been nice and still in progress, what makes me sad is the portion reductions. I am still a fan of the country fried steak taste despite its size reduction and more than 1/3 less of tater tots. At least the service still comes with a smile, but I'm not sure how loyal the other customers will remain. I'll make sure to take another pic of my next country fried steak plate to show the difference in comparison.

I must say that while the food quality and portion have decreased, it seems the prices increased...the food to price ratio is off. I've been a patron of Honey Jam for over 10 years, the highlight of starting off my Saturday mornings and recently my occasional weekday visits. But I can no longer justify paying for the diminishing value. Popeye (scrambler) without the spinach is blasphemy! Very miniscule portions of spinach and bacon, a few mushrooms here and there. One time, my OJ was diluted, in color and taste. These scattered, crispy, hash browns aren't the greatest either... everything screams cheap!!! I'm starting to wonder if all the renovations and acquisitions are causing a pinch??? Nonetheless, the service is always impeccable...I just wish the food was too.

Love honeyjam. took care of 7 of us very well. they are doing construction on/in their add on building out back so a bit dusty and big room transition- be sure not to trip if you are seated in the back room.

Great food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. I always leave there stuffed. Great portions. My only criticism is they don't serve dinners.
