Website indicated it was permanently closed. Good thing I didn't check this before I left. They are open and combined with KFC. We used to have a store in Aurora and I really missed it. Love the fish and fries! Brought back memories. Thank you!

I ordered two family meals which is eight pieces each. The first was supposed to be eight chicken, the second one a mix of 6 fish and 2 chicken. They told me they did not have that much chicken ready and would be a 5-7 minute wait so I pulled around and waited. They bring out a very small bag of food and I said hey I dont think this is my order, the guy says this is the L2 which isnt mine so I repeat my order again and he goes to get it. I drive an hour away (should’ve been thirty minutes but due to traffic was longer) only to get home and realize that they gave us 16 pieces of fish. I called back and spoke to a manager who says give her one moment and puts me on hold. After a few minutes she comes back to the line and goes, “so youre missing all the chicken!?” As if she believes Im lying. I explain again that we got 16 pieces but with no chicken leaving two family members without dinner since they will not eat fish. She cuts me off mid sentence to put me back and hold and I wait for 25 minutes on hold before I give up and hang up when its obvious theyre not coming back. I called back only to find it “user busy,” my guess being that they put the phone off the hook so I could not call back. So I wait a few more hours and call back AGAIN. I get through and the manager says oh they got busy so thats why they left me on hold. I asked for a refund and she said that I have to drive the thirty minutes back to get a refund. I tell her since its now nine pm I qm not doing that but will tomorrow (which for the record is still nuts considering thats an hour in the car due to THEIR mistake,) and she tells me she has to okay it with her manager first and she will call me back. She calls back to say that theyll refund me but I have to BRING BACK ALL THE FOOD. Are you nuts? We threw it out hours ago. Why would we save food we wont eat? So now theyre refusing any kind of refund and Im left to have to take it up with my bank. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GET FOOD FROM HERE!

Made the mistake of going here! Had to wait 15 minutes for food. They forgot to give me my drink, so I had to remind them, and they asked if I wanted any sauce which I said yes to tarter sauce, but when I got home, there wasn't any, so I had to eat the fish dry! And, it wasn't even busy when I went there--Never again!

Stopped for Long John's and it was delicious. Clean place. I'll be back.

On July 20, 2022 had not eaten all day. Ordered a "platter" (fish, shrimp, cole slaw, fries, hush puppies) with an extra fish. Cost was $14.21. Was told to "drive forward to the bush" and wait.The (6) shrimp were freshly cooked and great. Cole slaw and hush puppies were good.But was unable to eat the three pieces of fish. The main purpose of the order. (Ordered an extra fish for an extra price.) The fish was double fried, darker in color than the shrimp, too hard to bite into, too tough to chew and had no flavor. As if cold fish from earlier in the day was refried and served.If possible, would like a partial refund of at least $9 since the main purchase, treat, reason for stopping was the fish. ?Customers should not get treated this way.
