Let me say this review probably could not do justice to the fantastic meal we had on Saturday night, veal franchise spaghetti carbonara gnocchi, and this pork chop dish that should have a category of its own absolutely fantastic. It was our first time there under the new ownership we live in the neighborhood and we certainly will be back, thank you for the great service guys

Capri has the best homemade pasta and vodka sauce. We are long time patrons. Service is always top notch. And don't pass on dessert, the tableside bananas foster is delicious.

My veal francesce and vegetable soup were exceptional. My sister enjoyed her salmon special as well. The other couple was enthusiastic about their gnocchi and shrimp scampi but not quite as much as we were. My only comment is that although the play list was fun, the music was a bit too loud for conversation. They did turn it down a bit when asked.

Capri Osteria, Is fantastic in everything they do and offer to their customers. The owner Joey, is very involved to make sure the fosters AR completely satisfy with their dinner experience. His staff is very outstanding in professionalism yet time to be friendly with you. If you want a very nice diner experience please go to Capri Osteria, happiness is waiting for you.
We had a great experience for my husband's birthday. The food was delicious. Dale was our Server, and he suggested various dishes. They were having a disco themed night afterwards, which we couldn't attend. That would have been fun. We will definitely visit again when we come back into town.

The night was so wonderful. Food delish , Victor our server was so friendly and accommodating. We were greeted by several people there and were so welcomed. The food was cooked to perfection. With generous proportions I will definitely go back again.

My Valentine's Day was completely ruined by the terrible service at this restaurant. We had made a reservation well in advance, only to find that we had to wait an extra 30 minutes before being seated. And even after being seated, we waited an additional 25 minutes before the waiter finally came to our table.I was so frustrated and upset that I ended up in tears. I couldn't understand why the waiter seemed to be ignoring us and not wanting to serve me and my family. It was incredibly disappointing and put a huge damper on what was supposed to be a special occasion.I would caution anyone considering dining at this restaurant, as the service clearly leaves much to be desired. It's a shame that such a beautiful evening ended up being ruined by such neglectful and unprofessional behavior.

An excellent Italian restaurant inside of the Hilton hotel. The service was fantastic and everyone was polite and helpful. The food was great, and it was really just a delightful evening from start to finish. I have nothing to criticize, and would definitely come back for a meal.

Atmosphere was pleasant and sophisticated and the service was good and attentive. Although the food was tasty, both dishes were drowning in butter/oil when presented. Both the whitefish and chicken dishes we had were covered in the butter and oil sauces, which made me feel like my arteries tightened during the whole meal. Perhaps some enjoy that but not us.

I am calling all locals and travelers! If you are over the deep dish or need a break from the Chicago-style pizza, you must do yourself a favor and have any of Capri’s pizzas. I must warn you they are addictive,
So, remember the scene in the movie Goodfellas ? When henry and Karen walked thru the back of the restaurant,thru the kitchen,then were seated.Well,if I could analogies my experience tonight that's how I felt like I was the most important person there, but that's how everyone was treated.Great food, great service, great everything.I was here for my mother's 86 birthday and we loved it..Our server Lorenzo and owner Joe made my mother and me and my wife feel like we were family.But please don't take my word for it come see for yourself.This place is Gem you can feel and taste the love in the food and service..Frank Sinatra music playing in the back with alot of other great oldies the smooth ones tho..I highly recommend ❤️ you will not be disappointed.oh yea the portions are huge and prices reasonable and totally worth the money..Thanks again Joe and Lorenzo and I can forget our busser either,very nice gentleman...

It was a surprise party for my niece. The first time I've ever been there, absolutely will go back!!!!!
Started with a Caesar salad upgrade that I jokingly asked for extra anchovies in and waiter said he'd ask if they had any??? How do you make Caesar salad without anchovies? My answer came, with bottled dressing that had no flavor. Then had seafood Rosotto. At least half of the shells in the dish were empty and the mussels I could find were tiny and dried up. Our friend commented to the manager who made excuses about not being able to get "the good mussels". Why offer a $40 entree special when you can't get the "good" ingredients. The sauce was also so so. I guess I'm spoiled having grown up in Elmwood Park that had excellent authentic Italian restaurants. Do yourself a favor and try Tufano's near the UIC Pavilion. Cheaper and better.

Saturday 7pm seated promptly. Reservations are highly recommended unless you want to eat in the bar area at high tops. Restaurant is tucked away off hotel lobby. Small intimate, old school vibe. Delicious food, most generous portions which definitely can be shared. Fantastic attentive service from the entire staff. Wonderful dining experience!
