I have had the Italian Beef two times within the last week! I absolutely love it and its the best beef out of everyone i ever had! Even beat beefs in chicago! My favorite thusfar, you will not be disapointed, the taste and the beef shreaded well!

Teddy’s Red Hots is my longtime absolute favorite of Downers Grove! The service there is unmatched and the food quality is amazing. For the last 10 years, they’ve had the same staff working every time I go, and I think that that says a lot about a place. I love getting the grilled chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun, and the Italian ice is fresh and fantastic. You will not be disappointed if you try Teddy’s!

Been coming here since I was a kid. Absolutely the kindest and hardworking staff delivering great food. Love their grilled chicken sandwiches, beef & homemade Italian ice. Homemade chicken wild rice soup is unreal too. Huge menu can’t really go wrong with anything on it.

Our daughter lives literally down the block from here. Went in to order a combo , hot dog , fries and a pizza puff. Everything was excellent and the owner let me try his Italian ice which hit the spot while they were preparing my order. Real lemons in the ice too. This place is awesome and we will be back ! Fries are always great.Any flavor of the Italian ice is a winner, my fav is the black cherry.Yes, the prices are high, I don't go as often as I'd like because of this. Still a great place to stop in

Teddys is like the ultimate hometown spot, right? Every time I swing by, gotta grab that pepper and egg sandwich, especially during Lent. The whole place just has this vibe that's hard to beat. Even though it's been a year since I moved away from Downers, they still remember me and my daughters. Now, that's what I call top-notch customer service. Teddy's will always be our favorite !!
