It is a cozy place but I got a Groupon for burgers and wine just to find out they do not offer it. The server did his best but it is bad for the place since probably more people go and then leave hungry. Pretty disappointed with the with the owners

My husband and I went there last Friday with a Groupon to try it out. The bartender was awesome!! He knew a ton about wine, and explained that Wags specialized in some Natural wines, without sulfites a lot of interference...etc. We were able to do a couple of flights, and the wines were great, the pours were great. They were completely open to us grabbing food next door and bringing it in, also ok with our 14 yr old eating and sitting there. Bought a bunch of wine when I left...definitely encourage any wine lover to go who is looking for some different and delicious wines

BEWARE!! This place is never open.I purchased their Groupon and then joined their wine membership because it was a fantastic deal. As a long time Coopers Hawk wine club member, I was excited to have a place near by and become a regular.I have driven to WAGS three times within their posted hours on their website and all three times they were closed. The first time I messaged them with no response, the second time they told me their employee was a no call no show (two hours into their shift), and this third time they still have not replied to my message.I have canceled the Groupon I purchased and stopped my wine club membership. Hopefully this place gets its act together, or a business of value to the community can move in.

Chris was phenomenal, New York Times is calling him a phenomenon. We went for the wine tasting and it was very tasty. The polo white wine was the best for sure. Will absolutely be back due to the great service, atmosphere, great drink selection, and awesome locals that come to the bar!! Come here and take care of the server!!

Chris the bartender? More like Chris the startender. Chris was super personable, friendly, and went into depth about the wines we were drinking. Will come back on Tuesday or Wednesday when Chris is working. Would like to try the burger sometime since Chris took extreme detail into making sure it was made with love. Loved the Zolo wine that was recommended to us. Wags was a great find and I can’t wait to come back. Wouldn’t of been the same if someone else was working and that’s what made the experience.

I went into this establishment for a girls' day wine tasting. The owner was knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly. If you're thinking of checking this place out, pull the trigger. You won't be sorry. Do try their delicious pizza, ask to plug in your own music, if so inclined, and sign the wall. Big up Mike for an amazing girl's day!

What a great place. Owners make everyone feel welcome. It's like an old school Chicago neighborhood bar with a modern twist. Great selection of beer and wine and very reasonable prices. I didn't try the food but everyone said that's great too.
