One of my favorite weeknight spots for dinner and a cocktail. This super quaint restaurant is nestled into downtown East Dundee. You are promptly greeted by a host/hostess. They feature a seasonal food and cocktail menu, and it never disappoints!! The pig and fig wood fired pizza is mouth watering. The wood fired chicken thighs liven up your tastebuds with a little kick of spice from the diced jalapeños. (I forgot to take photos of our food, as we were pretty hungry). The staff is inviting, friendly and helpful with all of their menu favorites. You don't need reservations, however if it's a Friday or Saturday evening I would suggest it.

Super cute place, outdoor seating available. The food was amazing.. Enjoyed the artichoke dip, lamb lollipops and the pig and fig pizza. Sat at the bar and service was amazing. Really great espresso martini too.

Went here for a first date and we loved the ambience and atmosphere and the decor! The cocktails are very well prepared and well presented, and delicious! The staff are all friendly and sociable and we have already decided to come back again soon! :-)

We came here on a Sunday morning and it was pretty nice! The waiter was very nice to us. When we got seated the QR menu wasn't working so the waiter didn't hesitate and gave us the food items! The meals were prepared rather hastily and they were very good! The decorations on the inside are nice but it is also nice in the outside! Overall this is a very good restaurant. We will be coming here again!

Came around 5pm on a Friday night, good thing because it filled up quick. It has very unique vibe, comfy and homey although space is tight in tables along bar where we sat. We were greeted promptly and our server was attentive. Wine was very good, and so too was the food: mushroom pizza and a fennel sausage pizza. will be back.

Awesome Wood Fired Pizza and other great culinary dishes. Menu is not extensive but AWESOME! Really would be shame to change anything here as perfect. Everything we ordered was superb. Owner is sweetheart and greets us every time. Her great character is reflected in staff who are just the same - happy, kind and caring. LOVE this place!!! Outstanding, fresh, unique super clean and as perfect of a place you could design and build for a restaurant.

I love coming down to east Dundee, there are allot of bars but it seems that mockingbird stands out from the rest. It's a little place but has so much potential. Every time I walking in I'm as peace, great atmosphere, great people and amazing food. It's the type of my place where if you having a bad day you can come in and just relax and forget about everything else. Also while I'm here I forget I have a phone, the people and amazing and easy to talk to and a great place to clear your head from a long week. I recommend coming out and trying out the place and I have a feeling you will enjoy it. I will be back soon

Very nice space and loved the vibe. The food was visually pretty, but the taste just wasn't fully there with any of the dishes. It wasn't bad at all, it just wasn't great. Flavors not combing as well as I'd hoped and the potato skins specifically were way way too crispy with a burnt flavor and needed a lot more dip. I'd still try it one more time for the atmosphere!
We've been dining at MBG since pre-COVID and have always throughly enjoyed our meal. We appreciate the recent addition of dinner options. Last night I had the short rib risotto...so rich, so savory, so tender. We always order the artichoke hearts. Consistently excellent!

They have pizza dough and pizza crust down to a science. Soft, chewy, crispy. Went there for brunch with 5 others, the food is great. Very cute atmosphere fun date night/brunch/drinks at the bar. Keep up the great work.

Mockingbird continues to deliver top notch food, and fine service. We really enjoyed the deviled eggs again, and the mushroom pizza was delicious, although with most places we ALWAYS order our pizzas crispy/well done to ensure that the crust is crisp and not soggy. Unfortunately the salsiccia pizza was sort of burned on the bottom. Overall an excellent experience.
