Customer service is terrible. I called three times with no answer and decided since I was driving by I’d stop in and was told I wasn’t able to order due to them being “maxed out.” You would think if all these small town businesses were closing they would want more service. I would not recommended this place to anyone. This is not the first time I have had this kind of service from them either. I suggest being nicer to customers so you keep them.

Basta is always delicious. Delivered dinner to cheer up up a good friend. We laughed (and gorged ourselves on a family order of chicken corvano plus bruschetta) for hours. Get some. Today!!!

Good food, but the cashier and everyone in the kitchen were not wearing masks. I won't be back.

Personally think they are rude as heck. Would not recommend. The food is good, but they come off as 'better than you' and its unappealing

My friend and I dined here and we were discriminated against. I have lived in Peoria my entire life and have never been treated the way I was last night. It started as soon as I walked in the door. There was one customer in front of me and she was helped and left. (We were all in our mask and standing 6 feet apart) I was next to be help and I was not acknowledge at all, the staff just walked past us. After about 5 minutes I finally stopped someone and ask for a table and the lady was rude didn't want to help me or answer my questions. It was so bad a couple came up to me while I was waiting outside and let me know they were leaving and they saw how bad we were being treated. We decided to stay and dine and when it was time to be seated the was no eye contact no greeted the waitress just used hand gestures and grunts. She serviced us with attitude and I believe she put our order in late to make us wait. People who came in 20 minutes or more after us got there food before us and we ordered as soon as we sat down because we knew what we wanted. She brought our food without utensils and when asked for some she just looked at us. She never stopped to ask us if we needed anything we always had to get her if we needed anything. We spoke to the owner about they way we were being treated and he dismissed us and told us he has never had that happen in his years of business and basically implied we were not telling the truth. This experience has been very hurtful and I do not understand why in 2020 you are treated different based on the color of your skin. I have never dined in at this restaurant because I have always gotten my food to go. I have eaten here for many years in all of the different location(Sommer St in Peoria and Peoria Heights) I am not a new customer I am a loyal customer. I hope no one has to experience what my friend and I did last night.

Solid Italian restaurant. Owner is always out to great you. Soups are great and while the pasta dishes aren't amazing they are all very good. Highly recommend for date night.
