Arrived at 4:45 on Sunday.Party heading out the door as we arrived wishing us better luck because they never got their food. Was given menus and told to come back to the counter to order and our food would be delivered to our table.A bartender, one wait staff, and one cook.2 other parties left while we were waiting for our order of two burgers and fries.5:45, we also left without getting our food. Can't understand why more wait staff or owner/managers were not there to help.We have always enjoyed this place for their food and atmosphere but will probably never go back after this experience. We went down the road to another location and were promptly waited on and served.

We ordered food and the sandwiches came out one at a time. Three people in the party and I never did get my food even after asking for it twice. We ended up leaving and I never did get the sandwich I ordered. Nice location and place but doubt I would ever order food again.

Had a wonderful experience at Charlie's. The wife and I went on a Saturday afternoon with the intention of having tenderloins. Upon arriving found they were having some fish specials, one of which being blue gill. Sorry tenderloin, not today. I got the blue gill, the wife however did get the tenderloin. My blue gill was wonderful, served w/baked potato and coleslaw. Potato was slightly under done, but nothing a little extra butter couldn't fix. And the coleslaw was really good. The wifes tenderloin (which she shared) was really good, nice thickness, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The bun lacked a little, but wasn't terrible. The tenderloin is served with your choice of fries, regular, curly, waffle or tater tots. She went with curly, and they were plentiful, hot and tasty. The service was excellent, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was casual and fun to be there.Highly recommend!

Always very good when I go! People will go to McDonald's over and over and have horrible service but never leave a review, a local restaurant gets something small wrong and people will wig out. I've had nothing but great food and great service here! Have eaten here close to 10 times! I hope they stay open for a long time.

If you eat at the restaurant, everything should be fine. Don’t order carry out. I’ve ordered it three times and the fries were always cold and soggy. And if you’re going for pizza, call ahead and make sure they have dough! Twice I’ve gone there for pizza only to find out they had no pizza dough.

The Wings are fantastic. The Breaded Pork Tenderloin was outstanding. I'll return to the Cove and try the pizza. They don't serve pizza until after 4 pm.

Walking in, the place was huge and I loved the decorations. There is an outdoor patio but my friend and I chose to stay inside. Cool decor and has a nice tropical vibe to it all. Several great photo opportunities. Nice variety of food but the prices were high. They do have daily specials. I did stumble in on Taco Tuesday and they had cheap tacos for $2. I thought they tasted great. I ordered their corn dog nuggets which were over $8 for a modest amount. My friend had a burger and was not impressed. My friend and I disagreed on the service. She arrived before me and felt rushed by the server who made it clear it was his shift change. I came in and the servers were very kind and attentive to everything I needed though. The low rating has to do with the cleanliness of the dining area and the restroom. Now, it is right next to the water so keeping it clean may be a bit hard. First, we saw a giant spider and as we tried to stomp it, it ran underneath the table. To our horror, there were quite a few dead crickets and grasshoppers down there. The table was sticky and so was the seating area. The worst part of the experience were the restrooms. For such a large place, the restroom only had one urinal and one toilet that had a shower curtain. I have never seen any restaurant use a shower curtain as a substitute for a door. Will not be returning based off this. Still, would recommend it as a fun place to drink, sit by the water, and enjoy a light meal. But for the food prices, they should at least invest in a toilet stall door.

Came in with a party of 10 for a birthday at the last minute. We were seated right away and taken very good care of by the bartender/waitress. Wings and pizza were great and the sunset on the river was beautiful! Highly recommend this place!
