Love Lorena's! It's definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. The food is so good. Free chips and salsa. I've never had a bad experience here. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food comes out hot and tastes fresh. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Staff is friendly, some of the food choices have excellent taste filled with flavorful meat, however, I don't think they want customers that come in and order regular tacos for dinner. I ordered regular ground beef tacos for dinner. Granted, I came in around 8:25pm when they close at 9pm but the tacos served were bland in taste, meat was lukewarm and loaded with grease, two of the tacos were filled with adequate beef, one of the tacos was inadequately filled, and the last taco, well, it hardly had any beef at all. All of the tacos just had a small amount of cheese, not even close to what I consider adequate cheese. I didn't complain, had I complained, I'm confident the staff would've corrected their mistake. Finally, I ordered my favorite dessert, the Fried Ice Cream, it's fantastic, however, I got the excuse they were out of ice cream. The young man didn't have much of a poker face, I could easily read his face that they weren't out of ice cream, it was that it was 20 minutes before closing and they just didn't want to make me Fried Ice Cream. I loathe when this happens, closing time is 9pm, one should be able to order exactly what they want and it be made fresh. And finally, this is very untypical of staff, but my waiter was more interested in sitting at the slot machine instead of serving me and filling my beverage.

Never had an issue but went in for dinner tonight and had the worst waiter! He was very rude and non friendly. Luckily another waiter took over for him because we told the staff we didnt want to deal with him. Jesus stepped in and took great care of us. Because of him we decided to stay and eat and not walk out.

From the chips n salsa to our entrées, everything was fantastic. We got the texas fajitas. Highly recommend the plate and the place, give em a go!

Our waiter was attentive and we had fast service, but the staff should be reminded that more people understand Spanish than they may think and it's not polite to be cussing, bitching about the job, or taking a shot at a customer while you're in the dining and checkout areas.
A charming Mexican restaurant right off the highway. It has a nice atmosphere with paintings on all the walls and plants on ledges.I ordered the Arroz Con Pollo and thoroughly enjoyed it. The chicken was well seasoned (though definitely on the salty side) and the mixture of rice and cheese was wonderful. Very filling. I also ordered the fried ice cream. It is good, but misleading. It's not actually ice cream IN fried dough, but rather, a scoop of ice cream on top of a fried tortilla shell. Worth trying.The service was okay. Our waiter was attentive when he stopped by, but it was a busy lunch period, so we were waiting a while to place our orders. Then, we waited a long time for the orders to be fulfilled.Overall, would recommend for a nice lunch outside of their busy periods.Vegetarian options: Most of the menu items have a choice of meat options to include. You could just as easily opt out of adding meat.Parking: Free parking in a plaza. Plaza can get busy near the restaurant, so the available parking might be a little far away.
My dearest friend and I would go get margaritas and food here once and sometimes twice a month. Although, she's recently passed away I still keep up our tradition of going to Lorenas. The margaritas are really strong and good. The price is affordable and the portions are plenty for leftovers the next day. The staff is super quick at preparing orders and kind.
Ordered the fajita for two. So much food. My wife and I are on a clean diet, I requested they cook our fajita without oil. They cooked it as requested. Did not eat the beans, rice, or tortillas. The food was good, the service was great. I would eat there again. Did not eat the chips, but I did try Salsa. It was good.
