Will never, EVER return again!! The nasty attitude begins at the head(Owner)and has spread to the employees. I guess having a nasty attitude and terrible customer service skills are a qualification to be hired here! I gave this establishment the benefit of the doubt, being it’s black owned and 1 of the only to sell fresh fish! Sad to say, I would rather patronize the Arabs or go to Schnucks! Of the few times I’ve TRIED to patronize this place, I’ve probably had 1 positive experience. The food always tastes different because there’s always a different cook. The fat lady that works in there is the nastiest, most miserable person I’ve ever encountered! The cook was handling raw fish, writing down orders, and answering the phone with the SAME gloves on! NEVER gotta worry abt me patronizing you ever again!

I was only asking about the fish, and he seemed to be annoyed. He walked away.He told me that his fish is guaranteed to be fresh. Honestly, I didn't smell a fishy smell. I know that if fish smells fishy, RUN. Fresh fish doesn't smell fishy.DUH. What about other incidentals once I get it home? Bond Avenue Fish Market, here I come. I'll give you a try.

When I visit my hometown, I always patronize especially black.owned businesses. Y'all this was exceptional! I met the owner. He knows what he's doing. The fish was freshly caught, and cooked to perfection and the to go box presentation, was one of the best I've seen or had. I ordered hard side Buffalo [you'd have to be a home girl] and shrimp with onion rings. I pulled over at the park and barely could stop to take a breath or a drink. I have been to this fish house a couple of times. The fish is always good but the guy who was cooking the fish today did an excellent job. They were close to closing time when we arrived so he made sure we got our order in so he could cook it and let their stoves cool down before they left. I got the two piece catfish filled, but I wish I had ordered more fish. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I also ordered the onions rings which were good and crunchy. This is going to be my go-to fish place! Great job!
