Food was good but just barely warm when served and only got colder as the ac runs constantly blowing down from the big exposed trunks. When I told the waitress she explained to me that's a common complaint and the best place to sit is nearest the kitchen. But we were the first customers of the day and we're not seated there. And as customers came in they were not seated in that area. They may have music on Thursday but you must call ahead to know for certain.

When they first opened it was great! Wonderful food and service. They have gradually gone down hill. Tonight will be my last time eating there. Waited 30 minutes after being seating for wait staff to even acknowledge us, the crab cakes were burnt and my pasta was sitting in a mound of grease. I couldn't even eat it. We will not be back.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but this place is over priced and understaffed in the kitchen. It took 45 minutes to get our food which I can live with if the food was good and the place was busy. Neither are true in this case. We were 1 of 3 tables total and the food was not good.

The food is so disgusting here it's ridiculous. I don't know if you guys need a new cook are just better quality food. The chicken was over breaded. The crab and lobster pasta was disgusting. The cat fish was wet and hard. You probably should cut it thinner and try another batter. It was just an all out horrible experience.

I ordered a steak medium rare, the 14 oz. They didn’t even have that steak thawed, so they told me I needed to get the 8 oz sirloin. The first time it was completely overcooked and dry, sent it back for another one, this one came out looking like a hamburger on the outside, not even a grill mark, and completely raw on the inside.Needless to say everyone else was done with the food, and I went home hungry.

All was good, except the water. Very musty, nasty taste. Not sure if it was the ice or the tap water. Absolutely not drinkable. Despite our gentle, quiet complaint, no substitute was offered. We had dinner with nothing to drink. Otherwise, will go back.

This was my first time at this location and I was not impressed with the manager. She looked like she had just rolled out of bed with her dogs. Dog hair all over her clothing, dirty fingernails and dirty teeth. I didn’t understand why she was upset when I asked for someone else to be my waitress. She was consistently grabbing people orders, going to the back eating, wiping her nose. I was completely grossed out. I asked her if she had straws with the paper on it and she said no. We didn’t touch our drinks knowing that she had put our straws in for us. This person needs a lesson in hygiene if they are going to be a front person for a restaurant. Now, the food never disappoints because I usually go to the Creve Couer location. I was introducing my friend to a place that they had never been and I was embarrassed by the appearance of our waitress. Good help is really hard to find if this is their manager ?

Cod fish or fried shrimp didn’t have any seasoning in batter or on it. Red beans and rice tasted like bland tomato soup. Cornbread was delicious. Fried corn was good as well. Fried calamari was the best thing!! Was not a huge fan of the crab cakes. Shrimp and grits were peppery and had too much
