The service was great. Loved our server. He was really sweet. The space is cute. Very classic and comfortable. Great place for big groups and families. The food was a fusion vibe. It is very American Asian so it'll please a variety of people in a big group. The menu all looked great.

Can't go wrong with anything here! Never disappoints! Love the Mongolian Mushroom and Drunken Noodle, but anything you order is phenomenal. Service is always great! Mules are such a bargain, can't ever pass them up! Also love that we can order chicken fingers and fries for our son from Chappy's while we order Asian and everyone is happy! Best ambiance in Edwardsville!

The Edwardsvillle, Illinois Wang Gang restaurant was a disappointment today. I ordered drunken noodles with tofu and regretted my choice after the first bite. The weird creamy consistency was not the fresh spicy complex flavor I expected but more like a fettucini alfredo sauce at a bad Italian restaurant. Additionally, there were just a few skinny strips of bell pepper, carrot and onion and the tofu squares were dried out and tasteless. I ended up leaving my meal for the garbage disposal. My husband's selection was more flavorful but far too salty. We also suspect the beef or chicken in his stir fry contained msg ( tingling lips and stomachache immediately after the meal). The one positive experience were the tempura green beans. They were crunchy and delicious. The service was average, and the facility was clean. Like almost every restaurant, the music volume was too loud. Overall, I'd give Wang Gang Restaurant a 3/5 (thanks to the green beans).

We have eaten at Wang Gang for years and have eaten there less and less as time has passed. I understand the market and the adjustment many restaurants have had to make by increasing prices, but all at the same time this place has decreased portions, decreased quality of food and increased prices. We will not be spending time or money here again. And the responses to these reviews is a reflection on the way this establishment conducts itself.

If you are wanting an authentic poke bowl please look elsewhere. The base of their bowl is plain white rice (instead of sticky sushi style vinegar seasoned rice) and all the toppings are just big slices of raw vegetables, raw carrots, raw cucumber, raw cabbage. Any poke bowl I've ever had uses pickled vegetables and toppings like seaweed salad, fish eggs, Wasabi, edamame, pickled onions, Daikon, sesame seeds, etc. This bowl was just a pile of raw crunchy vegetables on white rice. There was supposed to be a xweet chili sauce the ingredients were coated in but that was not in my bowl. Then the raw tuna was just cubed raw tuna with no seasoning. The only flavorful addition was a mayonnaise based sauce they drizzle on top which I asked for on the side. For me a Poke Bowl should have Asian ingredients and spices and pickled ingredients and vinegar saucesThe stir fry with scallops and shrimp however was good, but the poke bowl should not exist on the menu as is.

New menu items today. Chili Fig Jam Fried rice was beyond amazing! The Chicken Paillard dish was perfectly cooked with brown rice, hibachi broccoli, chicken and a pineapple. You are missing out if you don’t try these two new treats!

I messed up my order online, and instead of having my pay to fix it (which I was willing to do), they went ahead and made for me what I was originally wanting. The service of this place is amazing!

Horrible! We had a party of 8. I overheard the waitress telling the manager that we weren't supposed to have separate checks. Well they allowed separate checks. The checks were all stuffed into the padded folder and left with one of us to pass out. Then we were asked if it was ready to be taken away to be processed. Then receipts and credit cards were stuffed in the folder and dropped off with one person to pass out. Plus we all got charged 20% mandatory tip which we were not informed about prior. I ordered a tempura green beans and when I got home, the batter was mostly fallen off the beans. I have been to this restaurant before and NEVER been treated so shabbily. Our group will be taking this restaurant off of our list.

My wife and I went and tried the food because alot of people said it was good. But we ordered the handmade crab Rangoon, handmade egg rolls a shrimp dish and green beans now in order to make that from scratch it would take more than 15 to 20 minutes they had the food out in to fast of a hurry and we got home the shrimp dish was horrible the shrimp were so dried out we couldn't eat it the crab Rangoon tasted old so did the egg rolls and the green beans were old and I told the people working there if the foods good we will be coming back because everyone said it was good it's been a couple months now and we will never go back I did call and told someone who answered the phone how bad it was and they didn't seem to care so you lost alot of business with us this has been on my mind for awhile and we will never come back

This is near the SIUE campus. Had dinner here and it was very good. Ordered the Signature Rangoon and Signature Poke Bowl with Ahi. To drink I went with a Pinot Grigio. Service was quick and friendly. I was checked on many times and never felt rushed even though I came in close to closing time. I sat in the bar area. It clean and roomy. I would definitely return the next time I am in Edwardsville.
