Had the tacos de asada(told not to add cheese): great flavor come with a tortilla chip bowl filled with a cup of refried beans with cheese on top. The beans had great flavor, but the cheese had the flavor of cheap cheese almost like the one from WIC.

We came here as a large group of family and friends recently and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Someone had already ordered a large pitcher of margarita which went down very well indeed. I liked the fact that there were large bowls of plain nachos and various dips & salsas to get the taste buds going.I wasn't really sure what to order but as I wanted something that would be extra hot & spicy, the busy young waitress suggested that I try the prawns in a chili sauce. Perfect. The dish came also with some fried beans and rice. It lived up to its promise. All delicious. When the margaritas ran dry I moved on to Miller Lite beer.All in all a great evening was had by one and all.

First let me start by saying the young man at the front was very helpful and courteous. This took place about 5pm today Feb 7th... 2024. I placed my order for takeout. I got a burrito, hard taco 2 tamales and a small (not small) side of rice and chips and salsa. Let me tell you it came fast. Probably too fast. I can Taste the Shortcuts! The tamales feel like bigger versions of those you get a can of Hormel. Shame. The chips with no salt what so ever are from a restaurant store. The thick kind. The salsa was VERY bland. I've never really had bad salsa before until now. I've eaten at many Mexican restaurants. The rice was bland as well. My dog don't even want it. SMH. The taco was ok. Not much to it and kinda thin. The burrito was great! Here's the thing though. I asked for hot sauce when I was given my order. I wasn't asked if I wanted any. The girl who gave me my order and got the sauce definitely looked the part of not caring and really didn't want to be there. The owner or manager sitting in his bar stool was just watching and didn't say anything. Almost like he didn't care. Except for the young man at the counter I'd say no one cares there including the microwave chef. You can definitely tell in the food. The girls attitude was obvious. I had been driving all week and this is the place I chose to treat myself on my way home. I chose wrong. Do what you want here but until they start caring about their food, I'll never go here again. If I wanted cheap so called Mexican food I could have went to Chipotle next door. At least I already know they're bad. SMH

Great free standing place to dine near interstate exit and local hotels. Pretty decor, architecture, tabletops, and chairs. So many things on the menu. Mostly booth seating indoors, but we did request and get seated at a table. Cute patio adjacent to indoor restaurant. A bit of a language challenge, but service was very good and prompt. Our meals were generous and tasty. Requested a Paloma to drink, and waiter did not understand me, but made a point of asking the young bartender who knew exactly what to prepare. The Nacho Fajitas were a unique entree that I would definitely order again. Muy delicioso.Parking: Enough spaces in the surrounding lot to provide parking for several customers…probably twenty or twenty five.Wheelchair accessibility: One stairless level from parking lot to restaurant dining area. I walk with a cane and am always aware of accessibility. Can’t speak for the restrooms, however, as I did not use them.

Took my daughter here for her birthday and was extremely impressed ? this is also where I had a special date with my sons dad many, many years ago. It was just as good then as it is now. I'm glad to see some things don't change ?
Stopped in for lunch. Seated right away. Drinks were ordered. No waiting. Food ordered. Everything was as ordered, was served quickly. Food was good and "hot" temp wise. ? . First time here. Everything was very good and was delish.

These folks welcomed us right at opening. Our dinners were excellent. The waitress behind the bar was very helpful and efficient. Could not ask for a better 'after a 350 mile trip' dinner and margaritas. Will definitely return.

I usually visit these restaurants quite a lot, but I do not visit Illinois a lot. They were extremely friendly and the food was great! People knew what they were doing, and they were on top of service. They kept everyone a good space aprt so it did not seem to crowded. The outside needed some work, but that is a small detail. it was definitely a must visit if you were stopping by!
