I was very disappointed at this Steak and Shake. After waiting a considerable amount of time for "fresh" food, my fries were barely warm, and my burger was literally cold. I couldn't eat either but did enjoy the perfect shake.

Went through to get dinner on Fri it took 30 plus minutes to get our food! Then when we made it to the window the lady tried to hand me a soda she had just handed to the car in front of us which is very unsanitary!! Then to top it off they didn't get the order right an burnt the buns to our sandwiches I used to love this place but Definitely won't be back!

I had ordered ahead on the app thinking that might make picking up my sons food faster. Pulled up to the speaker and was asked to wait. So I waited between 5 and 10 minutes then told them I had an app order they said to pull on up to the window. I get tothe window and see my sons shake and soda sitting on the counter ready to go so thought food must be about done also........nope I sat at the window and waited just a couple minutes shy of 30 minutes I kept hoping at that point they were going to remake my sons shake and soda because it was just sitting there that whole time melting.....finally hand me the melting shake and the watered down soda and the bag of food. While waiting on the steak and shake food I wen ahead and ordered 2 orders of cheese sticks and an order of breadsticks and sauce from Little Ceasars so that would be ready for pickup so when I finally left steak and shake I went for the sticks and they told me they were still working on the cheesesticks and to pull to the front of the store so I pulled upfront and sat and sat and sat ANOTHER 30 minutes before I finally walked into and asked her about them amd she just kind of looked at me awkwardly like she didn't know what I was saying I told her I had ordered ahead and had went through the drive through and she told me to go park and she would bring it out to me bur she never did. You could tell by her expression that she completely forgot about me waiting on the food and I was so frustrated by this point because I had a shake completely melting out of the cup onto the cup holder outside in my vehicle with what was by then the cold food from steak and shake. So she grabs the food but forgets a couple of the sauces that go with them which I didn't even notice until I got home. Neither place offered a refund or coupons for the wait or anything! So I travel back home to tell 3 teen boys that I was so sorry they had to wait 2 hours for me to get it all picked up and back home and on top of all that the food was cold and gross from all the time it had sat. So both places offered up extremely long wait times, poor service and expensive, nonedible, meals that all ended up in the trash can!

Steak and shake has turned into a real dump.Very depressing atmosphere and dirty. Bring back the servers. My daughter ordered a cookie and cream milk shake, and it smells and tastes like peanut butter.

Took really long to get food, they gave it to someone else first as well and then were like ope that's your food after it sat for a while. Then they said they were gonna give us another tender because one was still cooking and they never gave us that tender.
Won't be back to steak n shake. I love ordering at a kiosk but this was so dumb. I ordered for 16 people and had to scan a printed off piece of paper for every drink. The fountain soda was horrible. I stupidly paid a tip ahead of time and did all the work. Dinning room was also

Do not spend your money here. Today I purchased a Cotton Candy milkshake that clearly had been used previously to make a peanut butter shake. Instead of getting a new cup, they reused it. This could send someone to the hospital. This is gross negligence and downright lazy. Never have I seen such a careless act. I called the store to complain and the person on the line did not seem to care, I was already out of Town when I noticed it. Please do not eat here if you want your food to be safe to eat.

Not able to leave a review on the food here because I was not able to order. Had questions and the door but ordering is all automated and nobody would come to the counter, so I left and went to Burger King where they at least have personalized service.

We absolutely Hate the push to replace people with machines. Not sure if we will be back. Also hate being asked to tip when we have to do half the job ourselves. Pay your workers a fair wage.
