The worst food I have ever encountered in a restaurant!!!! My omelet was brown and super over cooked. My crapes were dried and undercooked. The server NEVER came to check on us and when I told her about the quality of the food and spoke to the manager. No one cared!!!! Will NEVER eat there management is nasty!!!! I paid for your nasty food that I did not eat. Hope it helps your bottom dollar!!!

My husband and I came in for Breakfast. Service was not the greatest, they were not very busy. Food was very bland as they do not add salt or pepper to their dishes. I left my whole breakfast on the table and was not once asked by the waitress if there was a problem with my Breakfast? She showed no concern and if she did notice, she didn’t care. This place just took our money and a tip. In speaking to Ingrid Cruz the owner on this situation she only made me feel like this was all my fault! She told me she went on the “cameras” and did not see any “bad service “!She counted how many times the server went to our table? She justified everything on their end! I will never go there again! Ingrid”s whole demeanor was soooo wrong. Her worker Maddie who took my initial call showed more “understanding and sympathy”.

Worst French toasts ever. I ordered the Very Berry French toasts. They were totally dry, tasting like rubber like if they had been frozen. Absolutely terrible!

Monthly girls breakfast at a new restaurant brought us to burnt toast Elgin. Phenomenal food, tons of options and very friendly service. Coffee was amazing too! I had the meat lovers omelette and grits for the first time ever. I'm obsessed with restaurant toast and this whole wheat didn't disappoint. One of our best experiences yet in our monthly - try a new breakfast place tour of the West suburbs! Would return here!

I absolutely loved this place. The food was great and the service was excellent.I'd say if I lived close I would make this my weekend routine to go here because you definitely won't go home hungry.

This is the place to go for breakfast. It is worth the drive. Prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. I have not found a better breakfast place than Burnt Toast.

Grand Marniere French toast was just blah ? warm slices of bananas with yellow sauce topped with chopped pecans that had no taste not even a hint of sweetness ?? my not so lucky day I guess. Gyro sandwich with salad was ok in taste. Don’t think we’ll be dining here again. Friendly

One of my fave spots for breakfast/lunch. I hate that they've recently changed thier coffee though!! It used to be great; now, it's just ok

Average experince. Food was bland. Server needs a bit more training in customer service. For eg. if there is a complaint, listen & ask what customer would like instead of snatching the plate to get it back to the kitchen to fix it. That comes across as borderline rude.

This was our first time hear and we enjoyed the nice casual breakfast. I got the Denver skillet and my husband got the ribeye breakfast. Both were great I got a vanilla latte and it is one of the best I have had in a while. The fresh orange juice was yummy! If you are looking for a great breakfast place this is the place to go. Also lots of families so it seemed like kids loved it as well.
