This was my first time eating here. I ordered the barbacoa taco dinner. Not a fan of beans so I asked for double rice instead which they were happy to accommodate. Service was fast too. My only concern was that the meat was very bland. The quality was definitely there but the taste was missing. Not saying don’t try this place cause I’d be open to going back and trying something different.

The food was delicious. The space clean, good space, and decorations. Nice to go with family and friends. The service was really cool. It was our first experience at a Cilantro taco grill Elgin. The restrooms clean and good olor. The customer service is priority. Chiken tacos amaizing size and flavor.
Friendly service, from Jorge and the entire staff, fantastic serving sizes, and fabulous seasoning and taste.

Ordered food online after viewing their online menu. Online menu has veggie tacos, that say they come with onion and cilantro. No where does it say that tacos come with sour cream or cheese. I order online, and there's no veggie option, only plant-based meat. Also says they come with onion and cilantro; no sour cream or cheese listed. What I recieved was cheese, sour cream, shredded lettuce, a tomato slice, and some avocado on each taco. No onion or cilantro. No plant-based meat. I called, and was told I needed to "go off what the website listed, not uber eats", which I did. Both are incorrect. Overall, not worth spending almost $20 on 3 tacos that are mainly sour cream and shredded lettuce.Steak tacos were dry, rice is dry, beans tasted like canned refried beans. Elgin has so many better options for Mexican food. Skip this one.
