I'm not one to give out 5 stars easily so when I do, it's deserved. We went a couple of days ago and just finished leftovers ?. We did go on a Monday at 5pm so it was not busy so the cooks had time to concentrate on our steaks which were done perfectly. I order their 28 Oz porterhouse Med/Med Rare which is difficult to achieve but it was right on the money. She had the filet al forneo (sp). Both were fantastic. The loaded mashed potatoes were real potatoes with cheese and bacon in a huge side dish. This is far from my first time here and will not be my last. During super busy times, this place will experience the normal issues that all restaurants go through but it's still very high quality steaks and service.Price wise, this place hits a homerun!!! I live in Wheeling and restaurants around here are 30 to 40% more for what you pay for at Jimmy's. Take a chance on this place, you will enjoy!!

Do not buy the supper club for two. The staff is not trained and even though we asked questions, we were mis-informed and then still charged for a dinner on top of the club. Paul was very argumentative and ruined our entire night.

Been going there for years getting great meals. Today had a bad one. Wife ordered ribs that were very tough. Told the waitress, she had her order another meal which she picked the shrimp which came when everyone else was done eating. Then I got home and on the bill they over charged us for the shrimp. Was suppose to be 24.99 and was charged 28.99. Not a good experience.

The food here is delicious. Had the All-American Burger with bacon and it was so good. Nice thick cuts of bacon. The spinach artichoke dip was yummy too. We came here with a large group and they conveniently accommodated us all. The only downside was it was a little dark but when we asked they turned up the lighting for us. Its a nice restaurant that definitely sets the mood for a enjoyable dinner with friends and loved ones! If you're in town like we were I would recommend stopping here for dinner!

So my fiancé and I have been going here often on for three years I myself have been going there longer but the past year we have been going at least once a month or more. We also bring the kids we usually order surf and turf for everybody fillet and lobster and have never had a problem with the steaks until this last time when we sat down and we all ordered the same thing, we all ordered them the same way also medium for the steak, the lady takes our order and we get the steak and cut into it and it’s rare is rare can be so then I cut mine and the other states on the table. I’ll bring the tension of the waitress who says oh I’m sorry I’ll bring it back and then collect all four steaks on one plate to bring them back and cook them some more , so after a time of waiting we get the steaks back again same steaks and they are still rare. I bring it to the manager on a plate by the front door. I don’t say anything other than show him the plate with a piece of the steak cut in half and ask him I would like you to tell me what this looks like , he looks up at me and says it looks like it’s rare. I said yes that’s what I thought that’s after your cook cooked it twice so tell me how this is my fault when I order four fillets, all medium we all got the same exact dinner yet they cannot cook it correctly twice, and still not correct Bring it to the attention of the manager. He agrees it’s not correct yet they don’t want to take them off my bill. I consider myself a food critic as I eat at every top restaurant I can find throughout Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. I had no problem, paying as long as the food is good, and to be honest, I have never written a bad review or had an issue like this ever , I would have thought that they would have taken care of this correctly instead of expecting us to eat this due to this I will never go there again and my bill is always two to $300 plus the tip I would not recommend this to anybody as far as getting steak only because if they screw it up, you’re still paying for it it could’ve been the waitress never put in that we ordered all four medium. I made sure to bring it to her attention right away and after two more attempts they still brought them to the table incorrectly, so why would this on any level be my fault never again I’ve eaten here before and the food was great but when you’re going to spend $300 on food Plus drinks I would expect it to be what you’re paying for and as far as management they need to learn how to handle things correctly

The bartenders Brett and Maggie are amazing I go on they shift every now and then if I'm not working. I'll have a drink or 2 and be done. They Make the drinks so bomb! I always normal ask what they suitor suggest and or surprise I'm never disappointed! I'm not a big drinker and I'm always happy with what I get. Maggie also suggested a lunch for me which was a chicken picata however it's spelled and omg also money worth! I feel that I can def call Maggie and Brett a good friend of mines! As much as I use to come for dinner with my family or lunch dates with my ex husband I wish I met them a while back also the bloody Mary is like wow it's really hard to find a good bloody Mary. Thank you for always providing an amazing service when I go there! Chef is amazing as well

I had the filet mignon. Small and mediocre.I asked for a Hendrix Gin Tonic with extra lime. G & T are served in a tall glass. What I got was not Hendrix Gin. The tonic water was not tonic water and instead of lime juice, I got a few lime wedges.The dinner included ice-cream. More like a spoonfull than a scoop of tasteless vanilla.I should give ** not 3.

Got the carry out meal that's around $65. It's a ton of food and geat when you have for a busy week. 2 wood roasted chickens, a slab of ribs, huge salad, 3 or 5 lbs of pasta(cant remember), huge salad w/ dressing, and 2 large sides. It's insane how much food you get for the price. We do this often when we don't have time to cook for the week.
