1 out of 3 items order didn't seem fresh or taste worthy after taking 3 bite of the tenders I lost interest. Not to take anything away from the establishment, I'm sure everything else was good just being honest about my personal experience.

I went the 294 Randall Elgin Illinois store at 5:48pm January 13 2024. Upon ordering a 12-piece meal, Kayla (appeared to be the shift supervisor) informed me they were out of any white meat chicken, because she didn't want to make too much if they were slow and ran out. She asked if I would wait 15-minutes and she would prepare fresh chicken. I agreed and stood there waiting until 6:25 and then asked another server where was my order. She informed me the kitchen made the wrong chicken and when I became agitated, Kayla retuned from sitting in an office and told me it would be another 15-minutes! I told her I had been standing there like a dummy for 45-minutes (it was now 6:29pm) and demanded my money refunded. I watched cars being tuned away at the drive through the entire time. As she was ringing up my refund, I reminded her that a manager doesn't sit in a chair when things on the floor are messed up! She should be fired immediately for total incompetence. All the above may sound trivial - but try it for 45-minutes and not even eat, then see how you and your family feel. The place is a filthy dump and a good reason why so many KFC's are closing.

We come to KFC about once a month. They have some new menu items, so I decided to give them a try. I got the original and spicy Mac and cheese chicken wraps. Flavors were pretty good for fast food, but the size was a little small. The chicken was moist and had the typical KFC seasonings. I got the meal so it came with a drink and fry. Might just go with the original sandwich next time.

The chicken tenders had negligible meat, it was mostly hard as a rock breading. Most a of it was thrown away, because it was too hard to eat.

Visited store on 9/10/23, visited Belvidere Illinois location. I placed my order online for later pick up. I ordered a 8pc. chicken dinner w/ 8 strips meal deal, 1 chicken sandwich meal, total bill was just over $48. I arrived at exactly 6pm. as scheduled only to be told chicken was cooking and I would have to wait at least 25min, I had no option since meal was paid for and it would take almost 15 min to go back home. It seems someone came in and placed an order for 2 16pc dinners after me so they got priority. when I received my order and was told it's all there, I took it and left, I was back in my car 38 min. later. I got home and unpacked everything to a hungry family only to realize we had no 8 pc tenders and no sauces, This was something we ordered regularly but no more, no matter what, we're going to Popeye's from now on, it's farther away but. it will take less time. I've contacted corporate twice but they won't return my e-mails. I still can't understand why if they know how long it takes to cook their chicken, why would they wait to start cooking more until they are out? especially at dinner rush.
