I had dietary restrictions in my recent order for delivery and spoke with Kevin the general manager… he was beyond accommodating and even called me back to change out a salad dressing I didn’t realize my guest could not eat. He’s exceptional and Lou’s Elgin is lucky to have him.

Valentine's Day was meant to be a beautiful occasion spent with your loved one. However, my experience took an unexpected turn. Despite ordering pizza at 2 pm for a 5 pm pickup, I found myself waiting for an agonizing hour before it was ready. The repeated emails reminding me to order ahead seemed promising, yet they failed to prevent the frustrating delay. Standing among a crowd of over 100 people in a pickup-only location, there was no sign of a manager offering apologies for the inconvenience. It became apparent that the establishment, driven by Lou's relentless pre-order promotions, couldn't keep up with demand. There was no communication regarding the delay, leaving customers stranded with no alternative plans. While I adore their pizza, this experience has prompted me to explore other options like Giordano's, where I hope customer satisfaction and punctuality are given higher priority.

Pizza would have been good if they hadn't left it on our front porch, never rang the door bell and delivered it at a different time than they stated. Ice cold, sat on our porch in 0 degrees for 20 minutes. Delivery timing was way off.

So, apparently Lou Malnati's in Elgin does not accept cash anymore!! What kind of pizza restaurant with delivery does not accept cash? Unbelievable. Guess they are too big they can do whatever they want. I'm done with them. There are dozens of other pizza places nearby.

Im, unfortunately, celiac. I ordered the GF deep dish. I ate the first piece and immediately said omfg this is like eating dough. After scraping the toppings off… sure enough. Raw dough ? absolutely disgusting!!! Be ware to my fellow GF people. Old Republic GF pizza is my favorite!

Their Lou Malnati pizza was really really good. I liked it better than the Chicago classic. Was in the mood for wings and they did not disappoint! Really meaty and their hot sauce was delicious!
