Called in for delivery, the cashier was not very pleasant to speak with. Something told me not to move forward but I did anyway. 38.00 and one hour later I got cold food delivered! Wasn’t even luke warm! Sad thing is I had soup too which was cold! This is my first and last time ordering here!

These guys really do it right. Fresh, tasty, fast, fair price. Best Chinese take out west of River in Elgin IL. It is our "go to" spot. The host is weird and cranky but consistently so. Everything else is amazing, every time!

ABSOLUTELY the worst excuse for Chinese/Cantonese food I have ever had. Fried rice that was bland and soaked in grease. Egg rolls greasy and with no taste. Potstickers that were as if someone wrapped mystery meat (honestly, I couldn't place it) in a pancake. Not the thin wrapping, just heavy dough. It's been around a long time, I have no idea how and everyone I've talked to says the same thing. Their food sucks, plain and simple.

I ordered the sesame chicken for take-out. It was horrible! It came with 2 pieces of what resembles broccoli and a sliver of what I am assuming is a carrot. The chicken was hard or over cooked and had a distinctive burnt flavor. It had what I think is rice in it. Very disappointed!!

I pulled up to the spot after ordering online for the first time ever... and the service was nice they were friendly. I order the orange chicken with chicken fried rice lunch combo, first of all in my opinion the rice had little to no chicken in it, the rice had no flavor at all, the orange chicken had no orange taste to it and was not spicy at all... besides the price i guess you do get for what you pay. All these things are easily fixable so I hope they don't take this in the wrong way.
I really love the food they offer here. Super delicious, never bland and very much good amount of food for the price. The boba shakes are so good and a nice pallet cleanser after everything.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Silver Lake. The General Tso and orange chicken were delicious, complemented perfectly by the combination fried rice. The hot lemon ginger tea was a comforting warmth to the overall dining experience, enhancing the satisfaction of the meal. It’s definitely a noteworthy detail. The attentive service and pleasant atmosphere, coupled with chill music, made it a 5-star dining experience even with the outside weather being below zero!
