I’ve loved their food for years, but the prices have become outrageous. 16 bucks for a couple of small hot dogs, the tiniest drink you’ve ever seen, and a large fries is just too much.

It's a good Chicago style hotdog.. had to ask for celery salt but it was a great dog. Service friendly, well staffed and very clean. I would return.. prices seemed a bit high.. $5.25 for a hot ?

i just don’t get the hype. fries are bland and soggy. is it that hard to use some seasoning? burger was small and lettuce on it was soggy. small drink came with the meal and it was almost 20$. what a rip off. go to portillos or even wendy’s for a better burger and fries.

They REQUIRE delivery drivers to violate health code and fill customer drinks. They opted to let the food sit on the counter to get cold while waiting for another driver to be sent who was more willing to do THEIR JOB, without any regard for sanitary concerns.A complaint has been lodged with the Elk Grove Health Department and they still do not care. Beware when ordering drinks for delivery!

The only thing big about big Sammy's is the price. Cist is through the roof borderline ripp off. Portions definitely are not as tasty and small. Unfortunately I will never return again for a $20 beef combo. They have all the prices blacked out so you have no Idea how much they are ripping you off till you order. Very shady business.

Legit got salmonella poisoning from leftovers of a day old, untouched gyro that went in the fridge about 45 mins after it was made. Had a fever for a few days, put a damper on the weekend for sure, be careful out there!

I am a big fan of Big Sammy's in Elgin we have been eating there since they opened. Last night we stopped in for a late meal and ordered 2 burgers and a chicken sandwich and it was $48...it was $14 a meal!!! Sorry Sammy, that was my last meal with you. Way too expensive....

Good food but I feel it is overpriced for the type of food. Quality is good and portions are fair. Would have given 5 stars if the prices were lower.25 bucks for 2 burgers, fries and sodas is pushing it.

I'm a big advocate for small business but Big Sammy's seems to be taking a hit with inflationary pressures. The entire menu was blacked out pricing, which I get you need to pass the costs on but the sizes are skimpy and the prices only go up. They made a name for themselves in EG because of the 2 dog special. I had a chicken gyro and wasn't impressed. Tomatoes were soggy and the sandwich was not the best. Hope they can turn it around- they have a cool concept and extensive menu.
