“This is another great family owned and operated buisness. They have a wide variety of specialty sandwiches. They offer variety of dinner options. I haven't used the catering before but I'm sure these guys are good at it. The restaurant is a hidden gem and need to look for it a little. It's clean and didn't see any signs of insects, etc....The specialize in Mexican food but as I said they have multiple specialty dinners that are not Mexican. I personally ordered a patty melt to see how they tasted, and it was great. Please support family owned businesses. I think corporate will do fine. I had the pollo tacos and shared a platter of the nachos. Both were just okay - nothing to rave about. The restaurant itself is clean. Reminded us of a diner! “Regular price and size tacos al pastor are really good. On Monday and Tuesday tacos are supposed to be 1 dollar but if you don't ask they won't tell. Why would you advertise that in social media if you don't offer it to your customers and instead just give them regular tacos and when customer ask, you say that you need to ask for those ? ? “The food here at least for the carnitas, are hands down the best, i live near the ORD airport and used to drive down all the way down to the southside for some good carnitas. Thank goodness, I no longer have to since finding this gem of a restaurant. Another indication that this place is great is because it always has customers, never empty. “Today was a better day! Order was perfect. Called in and food was ready as promised 15 minutes. Carne asada ( they use lomo NOT arrachera ) was cooked and seasoned well. Comes with rice and beans. Steak is topped with grilled jalapeno and onions. REALLY good guacamole and chips. They don't use peppers so it wasn't spicy, which is perfect for me I learned today this location seats up to 110ppl and is rented out for parties for free with food purchase. You can decorate as you like. Also they have another location at 4949 Butterfield in Hillside“

The lomo en chile with a side of jalapeños. I mean outstanding. So much flavor and great portion size. As full as I was I couldn't stop eating it. The other 2 were asada taco dinners. Outstanding once again. Very authentic. Also got a large horchata and Jarritos. All of that food for only $50. Not only will I be going here again but I am having my company order meals for the store lunches we do. Do yourself a favor and come here for lunch or dinner.
