The baked goods are terrible and overpriced. They have a poor variety of baked goods to choose from and the baked goods are try to lacking in taste.

Courageous Bakery and Cafe has some solid breakfast and pastry choices. My husband is a huge sucker for breakfast burritos and I am a huge fan of buttery, flakey biscuits. Courageous has both so it's a win-win for us! Besides breakfast, we would typically order croissants, cupcakes, and/or 4 inch birthday cake to go. None of those have disappointed us. The only downside is the horchata loca latte was somewhat mediocre in which both horchata and coffee flavors were underwhelming.

We ordered catering breakfast for work and it was AMAZING. Everyone enjoyed everything. The delivery was on time and the food was just as expected. It's very hard to please a large group of people and we did not hear 1 complaint. People asking for seconds. We got the breakfast burritos, french toast, potato's and fruit. I can't rave enough on the quality of food and just how wonderful everything was.

Outstanding service. The French silk pie cupcake is delicious along with the Chocolate covered pretzels latte!! Great selection of different breakfast brunch options for the family as well as Latin dishes and drinks. I will also add great Value for money the portions are perfect you may even have left overs! They have something for everyone and every mood! Savory, Spicy, & Sweet!!! Many Protein packed options as well such as the breakfast Burrito and choice of side fresh fruit, potatoes, or salad!! Coffee drinkers they serve Thee Best breakfast blend Coffee which is Unlimited!! The donut holes you receive when dining in is such a nice little touch that the children absolutely love!

The s'mores cupcake was disappointing. I expected a rich chocolate and graham cracker crust or crumble and didn't get that flavor at all. Sad that this was the choice for my birthday. The sprinkle sugar cookie was pretty good, but I can make just as good at home. I've heard their breakfast sandwich offerings are better than their baked goods. I'll try one next time. Overall, the cupcakes are mediocre for a bakery. I'm hoping they will improve over time as the company grows.
As a cancer survivor, this place hits home to me. Food is exceptional. Great place to come with my toddler. The BLTA is phenomenal and the survivor cupcake flavor is the best. Everyone is so nice.

I wanted to find a new local coffee spot and Courageous Bakery did NOT disappoint. I ended up getting the chocolate covered pretzel drink and it was delicious. The barista (I think her name was Amanda) was so sweet and helpful. Definitely give this place a try!

Used to my go to breakfast place in Elmhurst. The main reason for this was the options they offered. For example turkey sausage instead of regular sausage. Not to mention the omelettes. Now with the menu change it’s just eh. Not as many options anymore. Not sure as the reason with the whole change. Definitely will be on my back end of breakfast options.
