“Bartender” was unprofessional. Asked about beers on tap. Sorry, but the answer of “a lot” isn’t acceptable. Must not have a list or realize he’s even at work. Ordered chicken strips as an app and the breading was thicker than the chicken and had to peel a lot off. Got ignored a lot, beer was empty, food basket already taken, and ready to leave and no check or staff. Less than a handful of us sitting at the bar. Probably won’t be back.

Always a "Go to" place for us (we live in Elmhurst). One of the few that have been around for many years. Good food is part of why that is. No cute gimmicks, just a bar with food.

Great food, good service at this establishment. Would definitely go back. I do however need to add one exception. When we sat down the bartender asked for a charge card which was fine. When I received the register bill it was just the amount owed and the bill was not itemized. I asked what we paid for and he verbally told us but I wanted to see an itemized bill. The bartender then spoke to one of the servers telling her we wanted an itemized bill and she approved. I have never been to a restaurant that did not supply me the customer either an itemized bill. I like to check my bill always to see what I am being charged. Over all I would definitely go back to Fritz's but would expect the complete bill.

If you are any color race but white please beware of racial discrimination. Band called my friend out from being pushed into speaker told her to stop dancing and move and im sure because I was black he called her out on the speaker and everyone booed us. She was white I was black BTW. I haven't even seen such racism in a while in elmhurst but I guess since Trump coming back they are becoming meaner. It was so unfortunate. Cuz we were the only ones dancing. Don't go here unless white and privileged.

Made an order to go for lunch. We had a couple of burgers. Thin cheeseburger and fries was fresh and tasty and cooked well to order, as was my 1/2lb cheeseburger with fries cooked Medium rare. Price was fair and portion was good. Everything was packaged well and order was prepared promptly on time. We will go back and dine in next time.

Best all you can eat fish fry around and the tartar sauce is homemade. Delicious!

Great neighborhood pub with an excellent selection of bourbons and scotchs. I had the sloppy joe sandwich with homemade chips. It was good and very reasonably priced!

Had a great time there last night. Food came out quick and they were great and handling some weird requests from one of our friends that wanted burger patties topped with bacon, sloppy joe and, mozz.Great service and nice staff, even though my company could have been better. I will for sure be going back.

We called to ask if the kitchen was still open, and the bartender told us that it was open for another 50 min. It took us only 10 min to get there. The bartender had an attitude when we asked for food menus. She claimed that their cook had already left. ?♀️ I’ve worked in the industry for 20 years, and I’ve never heard of a restaurant having ONLY ONE COOK. The truth is that she lied in order to get us in the door, and was dumb enough to think that we’d stay. First and last visit.
