I've been meaning to order from here since they opened, and finally did. And so not happy about it. Garlic Parmesan wings- flavor is good, but these are horrible quality - one of them didn't have any meat on it at all. I wish I took a picture bite this is no exaggeration. Cesar salad with chicken- description says creamy ceasar dressing and I asked for extra. It's came with one tiny NOT creamy, oily dressing. Chicken was fine. Lettuce was more than half iceberg. GarlicParm nuggets- I expected these to be like beer nuggets- and that's what they could have been until they were doused with a garlic Parmesan sauce. Tasty sauce but this is not how they should be done. It should be sauced, fried and Parmesan on top. Soggy is an understatement a big one. Inedible. I tried to put them in the air fryer but it's beyond repair. I don't know why you'd think anyone would want this ever. I sure hope this is not normal? Fried dough doused in sauce and just sitting in a pool of sauce?! Pepperoni Detroit style- it's good. The bottom got soggy (I live 7 min away), but crisped it up well on a pizza stone. It's pretty good but not great. I'm really sad I was looking forward to it!

First time coming here, and it was really good. Got the Italian beef and it was amazing, they put this seasoning on the bread and it was really good. Our server Anthony was really friendly and provided excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend and will come back again.

Yelp recommended Larianos which also came up first when sorting by the most stars. I added a salad and an appetizer in order to meet the $30 delivery minimum. An hour later the food arrived, my daughter opened the box and said "what is wrong with this pizza?" The cheese was over cooked, thin and did not taste good. The crust was dry, had black burnt bits and tasted like cardboard and the sauce was dark red and flavorless. When it comes to pizza I was convinced my family of four would eat any pizza but even my kids passed on this dinner and we ended up throwing it away. I always trust Yelp because they do not steer me wrong, but I am questioning the integrity of these reviews and the Yelp recommendations.

Love their beef sandwiches, every bit as good as Portillo's. What gives with their hours? Stopped in on a Wednesday at 1 p.m., nobody home. It is a shame when a really cute restaurant with good food cannot get its act together

We had a little mix up the other day with the snow and an order. I called to sort things out to either get a refund or pick up my order, which we ended up picking up. They were so apologetic and gave us additional food, which went above and beyond my expectations. It was so unnecessary as no one was in the wrong that day but the snow. It’s apparent they value their customers. It was just a very kind and genuine interaction. If you haven’t tried them out yet, I would certainly recommend. The pepperoni Detroit pizza is something we go back for again and again.

Picked up a Detroit Style Pizza today for my family, came home, and saw all the cheese was fully burned across the top. We called the restaurant, and he initially said it is supposed to be burned. We pushed back and said it looks nothing like the photos so he said to bring it in and he will make another one for us.I took it back and he agreed this was a fully burnt cheese pizza. He gave me a new pizza but did not offer to comp that pizza or throw in anything for the inconvenience. I had a 20 min round trip initially to pick it up and another 20 min round trip to get the new one. Poor experience overall.

Their pizza is awesome and their staff is wonderful! I hosted my son's birthday pizza party here and they all had a great time and went for seconds and thirds! Great pizza, great space, great staff! Thank you Anthony for making the day awesome!

I have been a regular customer of this establishment since it has opened. It is too bad what I witnessed today will make me not set foot into this establishment again. This is really too bad as I did enjoy their Detroit style pizza and several of the other items on the menu that I came in for. Drove into the parking lot today, proceeded to get out of my car at 2:15 this afternoon. I was happy as I was in luck! Sign that was posted on a green sticky note on the door said "Open @2 today. This would have been great as I was here in the area and would not have to make another trip back here during regular hours. When I walked in, there was a worker in the kitchen preparing Detroit Style Pizza and I waited patiently at the counter for 5 minutes before asking is anyone here? The sign on the door states that you open at 2 today. The reply I received was that is no longer valid. Prior to asking this of the worker in the kitchen, what I witnessed is enough to not make me ever set foot into Lariano's ever again. Now I realize there are a lot of things that happen behind closed doors in a kitchen, but I dont want to witness this first hand as there is really no door on the kitchen and you can see the workers in the kitchen preparing the food. The worker was cutting the pizzas or the dough that was in the pans. He dropped the pizza cutter onto the floor and proceeded to pick it up and continue using it to cut the pizza or the dough as if nothing ever happened. At that point, he was unaware that I was in there. I was mortified by this. Just this alone is enough to make me steer clear of this place and tell my friends that frequent this place to stay away too. Being that pizza was already prepared to be sold that day and I was already in there, the proper thing for someone to do in this situation would be to offer to sell someone a slice of pizza as long as it was not consumed inside since they were not opened for business yet. Especially after I called out the worker by letting him know that the note on the door said open at 2 today. Too bad as I did enjoy the pizza here, but when you see something unsanitary happen right in front of you, some things, one just doesn't forget. At least I know I won't

Disappointed. We've had Lariano's before and was very good. I'm not sure what is happening but this is the second time in a row the topping choices have been wrong and the boxes are not labeled as to what is in them (calzones). Attention to detail is lacking. People want what they order.

I gotta say, could be the best pizza I've ever had in Elmhurst. Got a slice of the Detroit style sausage, and every ingredient was tasty: the sauce, the cheese, the sausage, the crust.. all very good

Spoke with Larry about some of my prior experiences and he has pledged to make it right. Will update after my next order. But one thing is for certain, Larry genuinely cares about making a great product and maintaining customer satisfaction.UPDATE: Ordered a variety of pizzas, salads and apps and everything was great. Would definitely recommend trying this place out if you haven’t already. Larry goes and above and beyond to ensure everything is on point - thank you Larry!
