I've worked at this gem of a restaurant several times in the past promoting Grey Goose but this was my first time dining here. Nicholas our server was excellent. He was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and on point! I ordered the Abruzzese based on his recommendation and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as well as the ambience. Hana the bartender was amazing! I would definitely recommend Roberto's and will definitely be dining here again.

They have a hidden takeout fee- multiple dollars- which you don't find out about until after payment & receiving the receipt. There is no reason to add a service fee for takeout other than greed, Mama Maria's does not do this. Be transparent and raise prices rather than try to snake a few dollars from loyal customers.

Fantastic Food. Wide variety of apps, salads and main dishes (easy to go as well). We were a group of 12 and all 12 was really happy. Service was great Josephine was awesome and all the waiters and busers helped out. It feels like a classy Italian restaurant. Strongly recommend

Of all the Italian restaurants we eat at, this GEM is our favorite. The service and food cannot be topped! We had calamari and bruchetta for appetizers this time. They were prepared perfect and the red sauce was extremely good. For dinner we had the sea bass, Halibut and a meat lovers pizza. The dishes were excellent!

The absolute best pizza ever! And wow has it stood the test of time! From when I worked there during high school in the 80's to present it has always had such a commitment to making a quality pizza that puts Lou Malnatis and Gino's (downtown) to shame! It's grown from a small pizza place to this beautiful restaurant that is like a landmark on Spring Rd. Can't wait to get back in town to explore more of their delicious food!

Have been getting the same dish for months every week and was charged two and a half times the price. When owner was questioned he said he couldn't make money of the price i had been paying the wrong price like this was my fault. He was quite rude and short about it. Message heard loud and clear when they make a mistake they will blame the customer. Don't worry heard. I won't go back and office pizza business will come with me too.

We have been going to Roberto‘s for a years and we never had a bad meal. OK I'll In the last several months. It just seems like it's not what it used to be. It's not terrible, but it's just not as good as it used to be. The food has definitely suffered. It's coming out not warm and it just isn't what it used to be.

The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean and beautiful, but most of all our waitress Patricia was spot on. She was probably one of the best waitress that I've experienced. The service was excellent. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I visit Roberto's every Wednesday. We were always very pleased with the food and service that was until sunday 2/17/24. We went there sunday afternnon, sat at the bar as usual. We ordered our drinks and an order of meatballs. Every time we go the meatballs are $8 and served with bread, cheese, and oil. this time however we had to ask for bread etc, which took exponetionally too long to get. Our bartender was less than attentive the entire time we were there considering we were 2 of 4 other people seated at the bar. less than stellar experience thus far. after waiting with empty plates for well over half hour I had to leave, not before my husband only walking me to the door was flagged down to put his credit card down in case we were planning to dash...after my husband got the bill to his suprise it was double what it usually is! He asked the bartender about the discrepancy and he was very rude regarding the price, mind you we have been to this restaurant every week for months paying the same amount. My husband asked to speak to the manager in which the owner came over. I expected an " this is the price, we know you come in here every week but for next time, this is what we charge NOW" but no. He was rude and stood firm on the $16 for 2 meatballs....although the food is fine we will not be returning due to lack of service, rude staff, and poor communication regarding price.

I visit the Chicago area about twice a year from South Dakota with my 3yo, as he's a patient of Shriners Children's hospital. We try to make the most of the trip while we're here, and that always includes sampling the local fare. I find good Italian food to be the hardest cuisine for restaurants to get right, and Robertos nailed it on every front. Food was incredible. Service was prompt and friendly without being too much. We were probably underdressed for the atmosphere, but despite that, and despite being in a nice restaurant with a toddler, I was never made to feel out of place. I will make it a point to return the next time we make it out this way, and would be a true regular if I were a local. Also, try the Pyramid dessert. It was perfect and light, and if you love praline, it'll blow your mind.
