Watch out Portillos this place can beat your hotdogs !! So good. The fries are yummy as well. I do love how the hotdogs and fries come together. Inside was ok. Cutish ambiance. . The service was nice. I did tell the lady that it was our first time hete. we didn't know they had specials so she could've saved us some money by telling us about them instead of ordering everything individually. We will be back to try other food.

You'd think that a place called Southtown Hot Dogs would have a good chili dog. It was nearly $9 for a Chili-dog & fries. Skinniest hot dog ever! Way more cheese than the teaspoon of chili they put on it. TERRIBLE!

Great Chicago style American food. Been here twice now and havent been disappointed yet. Large helpings at really competitive prices for everything from Italian beefs, gyros, Chicago Dogs, Chili Cheese Dogs, Cheeseburgers, French fries, ice cream shakes, and sodas. Comparable to like a Portillos restaurant-type menu. Service and cook time is fast. Great for walking in and getting an order to go in under 15 minutes. Small but cozy place if you want to dine in. Sometimes it gets a little crowded with the to-go order people waiting on food. But the mid century decorations and outdoor patio are great atmosphere for dining in too. I recommend checking out the combo specials written in chalk on the wall for the best combo meal deals. Will definitely come back.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options, finding vegan choices may be more difficult. See the menu.Kid-friendliness: Very much a family place. I always see families with little kids when I go here. Little kids are welcome and encouraged.Parking: If you can't find a spot on the street, there is a parking lot just behind the building.Wheelchair accessibility: It's wheel chair accessible for entry, but it may be difficult navigating a wheel chair around inside.
