The food is absolutely awful! The quality of the steak is not good and very fatty. The owners need to step up their game and buy good quality meat. Never going back.

We were coming from the Fashion Outlet mall and it was -9 degrees outside. I was looking for something that was home made and did not want to eat chain food. I seen in my google search that this place was family owned and had a nice atmosphere with full bar. The empanadas were the best i had ever eaten. The pastry was light and the fillings were delicious. We had the chicken and beef fillings. Our server was so nice and helpful with our choices since it was our first time there. I had the pork sandwich with bacon lettuce and tomato. Pork was excellent and our server gave us this green sauce which was divine. My husband had the pork dinner and it came with beans, rice and potatoes. His dinner was called the Lechon, and the portion was very generous so we have lunch for tomorrow. Our server also brought out 2 sauces (green sauce and light orange) for the pork. Our server said the main ingredients in the green sauce was garlic, peppers and some other secret seasoning. The pork was already flavorful and tender but the sauces really made it taste that much better. Next time I go shopping at the Fashion Outlets, this will be our dinner spot. Our server was so nice and gave us more green sauce to go with our leftovers.

A few days ago me and and my husband went to have dinner at this restaurant. First thing we notice we weren't sure if the place was open because it wasn't well lite untill we saw another couple with their kid eating there. We sat down by the window side. It was cold inside the restuarant. We were hungry so we looked at the menu and ordered quickly.Reguarding the food: I ordered a Ropa Vieja steak sandwich, the shredded meat was not tender at all, it was very chewy and it wasn't well seasoned. My husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and the waitress forgot what he ordered and brought him a Cubano Sandwich. Being the nice guy my husband is she told the girl I'll take the Cuban sandwich and then she said no, I'll put in the order for the chicken sandwich and brought it to him and she was a·pol·o·get·ic. At least she corrected that mistake. We also ordered two sides of tostones with garlic sauce. First of all I thought they had given me two whole hands of plantains to make the tostones because they sure charged us as if they did. We paid $10.50 per side order of tostones and the garlic sauce had no taste. I think their menu is overly priced for the quality and taste of the food. The waitress should be more friendly and introduce herself to customers and make them feel welcomed. She should also write down what the customer wants to order so she won't forget. We didn't even get her name.Final review: I was dissapointed in this place and so was my husband. Mind you, I had eaten at this place before and I don't remember the service being this bad. Cafe Cubano is gonna be a No for me.

The food was very seasoned. I loved the one tails. She said that it was spicy. I was trying over spicy. The Yuka fries are ok.

I used to come here all the time. After not having been here for about a year, I was excited to come today. I was truly disappointed, as were the other 4 people I was with.I definitely think they changed the cook. The food lacked the delicious seasoning that I had come to love. They seemed to have increased their prices as well & now, there is an almost 4% charge for using credit cards!!! The food was definitely not worth it. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. It's sad to see that the prices are increasing, while the quality completely decreasing.
