They’re pretty good and fast. Good flavor not bland. It’s one of the better and more authentic places in the north side area. I always get the asada tacos or an asada torta.

Worst enchiladas I've ever eaten, by far. Tasted like burnt plastic. Rice and beans were okay, same with the guacamole, but everything tasted pretty bland, like salt had never even been attempted. Ordered after a 14 hour day of travel and was extremely let down.
Went there and no dine in...no tables. The online site should indicate only Cary out. And pricey...not paying

Today I continued with my mission of finding the best Mexican burrito in all of Chicago. The place I went to today I discovered just simply driving on West Belmont near Elmwood Park in between sales appointments. This place, Meson Del Taco Express 7616 W. Belmont, was not on my list of places to go visit. But boy oh boy am I glad I stopped! There is no dine-in at this place everything is to go. The service when I placed my order was absolutely outstanding. The lady at the counter was friendly, attentive and had a lovely smile. When I got out to my car and opened up my burrito the first thing I noticed was some of the cutlets of meat that was just outside the tortilla. These little meaty chunks looked so delicious. I could tell it was a quality meat and nicely cut up. I saw no sign of unattractive fatty, grizzly or burnt meat. You know when you know and boy did I know this was going to be a fantastic experience eating this burrito. OMG, simply heaven! This is what I want heaven to be like if I get there! The burrito had flavorful well spiced steak, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, avocado and sour cream. The sauce wasn’t that typical red and green sauce you get at every taco joint around. It was more like a tan sauce. Supposed to be hot but it was definitely tolerable. I highly recommend this place. I am definitely going to keep this noted in my phone.

Good food, not so good service. They always say about 5-10 minutes for an order of tacos but you wait for more like 25-30 minutes. Nothing "Express" about this place. The big piece of plexiglass is useless. They ask you questions, can't hear them. You ask a question, they can't hear you. You end up bending over and speaking through the non-protected opening so you can actually talk to each other.
Great night for a burrito or tacos to go ..
