The bright and spacious dining area exceeds the typical cafe experience. The food selections are numerous. The coffee is of robust quality and not watered down. We had the Salmon Toast and the Waffle combo.Later, we had the Turkey Club and Strawberry French Toast ?Many choices of cheeses and meat/meatless sides. All were mouthwatering delicious and presented appetizingly. The service all around was A++.Like I said, this place is much more than the typical cafe.It was also nice that every table has a fresh carafe of water.?We're looking forward to returning many more times. The food was so yummy ?

The food is decent, though the challah French toast and red velvet can be a bit dry. The ambiance is pleasant. The servers and manager are friendly and accommodating. However, it was challenging to maneuver a baby stroller in as they only have a revolving door, not a regular one. Also, it is advisable to make a reservation in advance, especially on weekends.Overall the experience was good.

AVOID this place. I went with my family and the water glasses were dirty, the pancakes were dry, and my stomach now hurts. The bathrooms also STANK and the toilets seemed to be barely holding on for air. They shred up toilet paper and make sounds akin to the guttural growls of an alligator.I am currently pooping and it STINKS. My poop doesn’t normally stink this horribly.

Definitely my new go-to breakfast place. So many options. The blackberry banana pancakes were to die for. Great chai tea latte. Friendly service. A+++++

We went here on Sunday for brunch and it was JAM PACKED! Still, that did not deter from the 100% impeccable and attentive service and food. They also have a cute little waiting area for kiddos and a great kids menu. The menu itself is tremendous, and they are happy to make substitutions. We didn’t get any alcoholic drinks, but they have a fun boozy brunch drink menu too:)Make reservations if you are going! We will definitely be back as I can’t get that iced latte out of my head!

Great place for Breakfast/lunch food. Large area, now no waiting like at LePeep which can be over crowded.

I love this franchise. It was the first time I was at this location and, same as the others, it was great. I'd love to come back in summer when the patio is open, it looked fantastic and spacious. We had the two breakfast specials the bibimbap and the red velvet. The bibimbap was delicious, it had something slightly spicy which I loved. The red velvet was extremely sweet for me, but of course my kid loved it.

Really enjoyed our breakfast! The coffee was good and served in fun mugs! We had cinnamon pancakes and a black bean chili omelet that were delicious! The side of fruit had a good variety and serving size. The staff were all pleasant and helpful! They even had turkey bacon and chicken sausage.

I ate at another of their locations and had a great time...well it's part 2. Upon entering a nice host greeted me, asked me where I would like to sit. The server Teagan came over immediately and took my drink order, then food order. The place is inviting, fresh, decorated nicely, very clean. I had the Joe's Healthy Omelette. One word - scrumptious. Coffee - perfect. Washroom - very clean. I also bought sum of their jam to take home. This establishment knows how to do it right!

Purchased 2 sandwiches and they were enjoyable. Staff is always friendly and the local is easily accessible after getting off the purple line train. Restaurant is clean and comfortable.

Food is decent, their strength is in sweet foods though. Their omlette was average and the potatoes lack flavor.

Everything is so good. Fresh ingredients. Loved their muffins paired with butter and jam.

I went to Egg Harbor in Barrington a few months ago, and then decided to try this one in Evanston this weekend. One thing I can say - at least they're consistent. Pros: Comfy and spacious interior that's bright, clean, modern. Many parties, including ours, were seated at tables that fit more people. Servers were attentive and very friendly - service was absolutely spot on. Coffee drinks are great (can't speak to the alcoholic ones as I haven't tried them here), and the griddle items (fluffy pancakes and waffles) seem to be their strong suit. Kids' menu offers a nice selection (including a cool green eggs and ham!), and the sausage link that comes as an option with the kids stuff is great. Cons: All the other food I've tried was pretty mediocre. Harbor potatoes are bland, and seem like they came diced and frozen from a bag at the grocery store. Hollandaise sauce on my Eggs Benny was a sad yellow sauce, plus the veggies might as well have come from a can. The menu has a whole section for avocado toasts, but I avoided it this time, because I ordered one at the Barrington location, and it was more like guacamole toast, if the guac had been sitting out for an hour getting brown.
