Everyone always talks about Harold's Chicken! So I wanted to check them out for myself. I went with some friends to finally check them out. And I ordered the 6 piece chicken wings with mild sauce and a 4 piece chicken wing with lemon pepper. I requested that the wings be fried hard, and the wings were pretty good. I tried the French Fries. They were just okay. But overall I'm glad I went . The wings were tasty!! Restaurant was clean, service was good.

I called in my order today I go in to pick-up my order. The cashier gives me my total I pay then she says it's going to be 10 minutes. Wait you mean to tell me you haven't dropped my order yet? Why not tell me that , why take my order if you're going to wait until I get there only in the black community smh please tell customers that.
Better than the one by the Wilson Red Line (even tho I like that one). But the Evanston one is so much better! The cookers take their time to cook the chicken!

Food was delicious, and service is slow because you gotta wait 30 minutes for your food. Maybe bring a book or hit up Jewel Osco while wait. I will comeback and Dine in!

Call today at 630 to place an order. Go to the restaurant 658, and they tell me they're closed. Sign clearly says 730. Need a voice mail to let ppl know, and a different sign with the right time.

I walked inside this Harold’s at 2:35pm. There was only two customers in front of me. I finally made it to the counter to order my food at 2:50pm and did not get my order until 3:30pmI literally only ordered a large fry with mild sauce and lemon pepper. I have never in my life had to wait over 20 mins for a side order of fries.

I personally love Harold's Chicken. They can be a little slow 99% of the time, but with anything that you love we have a tendency to be patient. Also with new people, Diamond and the gentlemen that did my cooking on 9-3-23 were excellent in their service, it makes me want to continue going there. They were very pleasant.
I can't really say anything bad about the food. But the service is horrendous. I can only imagine how much business they have lost by not answering the phone or just being rude and dismissive of customers and delivery people on a regular basis. I have witnessed rude behavior almost every time I have gone in there and often when I will call no one will answer the phone doing opening business hours.
