I don't want to be mean, but the service was tremendously slow, the veggies were undercooked, and the food was oily and bland, with too much salt and a lack of any complex flavor. The dish itself was pretty lukewarm as well. I feel like this is a prime example of Midwestern Asian food—there are no standards or any real competition, so it's just kinda mid.

I just had a miserable experience picking up an order placed online. Food was ready as promised but the older woman who served me was rude, unprofessional, and simply made my experience unpleasant. She had the nerve to become angry at me for not understanding her when she spoke no English. Now bear in mind, I am also an immigrant and I get that English can be challenging, and so I went out of the way to try and communicate with her, but she should not get angry at the customer for not understanding.

People don’t know the reality of this restaurant!!!Been here a couple times . Every-time i went there got more worse and worse . And no more! The1) I was in shock when they have a lot of 5 star reviews. This place should be closed. In first I thought the food is great but then there is a bug everywhere, dirty socks on the corner, human poop on the bathroom floor . If u love your health then stop dining in such an affordable places specially this one.2) The owner take advantage of their employee . I saw she was pushing and screaming throwing cups like a crazy person. To the customer even worse. I tried to be patient but she did scream at me and threw the tip tray with the check. Never saw Korean old lady acting such a crazy stupid way .

The owner was super rude, yelling at people.The restaurant was not busy, but it took 20 minutes for the waitress to even get us water, then 10 more minutes to take our order, and another 25 minutes for the food to come. Man, it was just two dishes! And 55 minutes had passed.With such service, you couldn’t even lower the tip because the restaurant charges “automatic tip” of 15％ without telling you. I normally tip more than 15％, but with such bad service and bugs in our food, it’s insulting that we couldn’t tip lower.

We waited for 40 minutes and what they told us is “sorry we messed up the order”. When they finally came with the food it’s a wrong order… I don’t understand why I wasted an hour ??? I would rate 0 if I can lol never seen any situation like this.

I had only been to a Korean restaurant once before but this time I was on my own & didn’t know what to order. I asked for something with beef & they made me Bibimbop? It was delicious & the lady who cooked it actually came out to my table & showed me how to eat it (mix the fried egg into the wholedish & then she added sauce & a spicy vegetable with sauce). I wasn’t able to finish it all before having to get back to work & the cook came out & put the rest of the dish in a to go bag for me- she would t let me do it myself! It was a great experience but next time I’ll make sure I have more time!

The food is delicious! i had the veggie soup for lunch and I recommend it, even if you're not vegetarian (I'm not). Spicy, but not too much... simply perfect.

I love korean food and love this place! Been here a couple times all the way from Chicago and it didn’t disappoint! The service is pretty quick and the food tastes really good and has sizeable portions, great for family style dining. We got the cheese buldak, donkkasu, seafood pancake and galbitang. Everything was great, I thought the galbitang was ok, but my friends really liked it. Would absolutely recommend!
I only went here because Soban Korea was closed.Service was bad. They kept bringing the orders to the wrong table. The waitress took our menus before we ordered. It also just took a long time for food to come out. The restaurant was not busy during this time.The bibimbap was bad. Egg had some raw whites. Many of the veggies were at varying temperatures, and some were over cooked. The rice was hard. At least my girlfriend’s Naengmyeon was decent.There is also a 18% required tip. I usually tip 20%, but the fact that I couldn’t tip lower for an restaurant with such bad food and service was insulting.
