New discovery in Evanston. This restaurant partners with 2 other restaurants next door so you can order from any of them with a selection of American, Asian and Mexican. Great when you are with a family or group and people want different things to eat! All delicious food, great service and the interior is beautiful and cozy with lovely booths and an antique bar.

Read the reviews and saw that the restaurant was very crowded. One reviewer asked why the overall review value was around 3.7 since everything was so good at Lulus. My verdict: 3.7 is a bit high. Food is average at best. Yes, portions are large but the reason we could not finish the peanut noodles was due to quality, not quantity. Just bland. Prices are reasonable but if no value if the food is not remarkable.

Food is always delicious, and fresh. Never disappointing! Unique food and can eat the cold noodles in the peanut sauce every day.Kid-friendliness: Dine- in or delivery , friendly and respectful service!

This is not a real restaurant. The food comes from the same kitchen as tacos diablo and blue horse tavern. It is very clear that the food was not made with asians in mind as the tofu was unseasoned and the wide rice noodles used a store-bought asian vegetable mix and the sauce was just wrong. The bibimbop was also cold.Service was fine. Atmosphere should be a 0, because I say again, THIS IS NOT A REAL RESTAURANT. GO SOMEWHERE THAT ACTUALLY EXISTS FOR ASIAN FOOD.

Huge and long-time Lulu's fan. I was surprised to see that overall that they only get 3.5 stars and it seems in my quick glance that most of the less positive reviews are around their prices and not their food. Lulu's isn't cheap -- that is true and I get it but I've never had a bad meal at or from Lulu's and in fact, almost always their food is very good to outstanding. Their salads -- amazing! Sesame noodles -- so yummy! Potato croquettes -- amazing! Their bento box is sooo yummy and beyond filling -- you can get two meals out of it. I highly recommend Lulu's an Evanston favorite!

Great meals. Especially the bento box and hot and sour soup which is no longer on the menu. Salads always fresh

TL;DR 4.5 Great food & service with MASSIVE food portions! My family and I used to visit Lulu's all the time when they were down the street, after they closed down everyone was bummed out. So happy they're back! Ambiance: Lulu's is now part of a triple restaurant combo with a shared kitchen & offerings for all of them. I believe the other 2 are Tex-mex and bar food. The place has kind of a nice pub feel which is a bit of a juxtaposition for Thai fusion but it is nicely appointed and comfortable. Service: Our server was very kind and warm, and always appeared at the perfect moment to help us out. Food came out INSANELY fast and was hot and fresh. Food: We had the poke and wings as appetizers and both were very large and tasty. Wings were sticky, sweet, hot and savory... perfect with a beer. The poke comes with delicious rice and could easily be someone's entree and they'd be very happy with it. Happy to say our fam favorite entree (the ginger chicken salad) is just as I remember if not better due to the fact that it seems to have doubled in size! We all laughed when the salad came out cause it was so massive. I ate for 15 min and took home a doggie bag filled with an entire meal, needless to say the value is great. Look forward to returning and bringing my mom since it was here favorite salad of all time.

The noodles I ordered were very mushy and sweet instead of spicy as the name suggests.

I believe it is nice place to spend time with friends but on the patio, not indoor.I liked the service and appetizers.

Great, consistent food. It's been part of our takeout rotation for years. It's even better in person, along with its sister restaurants Taco Diablo and five n dime. They share a kitchen.

The best!Moved back to the area recently and made a trip to Lulu’s a priority. I was so happy to see them crowded on a Tuesday night.I intentionally over-ordered with spring rolls, egg rolls, the green beans, sesame noodles, and wide rice noodles. Everything was as fantastic as I remembered and hoped it would be.Drinks were also great and the complimentary chips and salsa were so good. I love the food from their other restaurants as well (you can order from any of the three restaurants, sort of a mix and match), but Lulu’s will always be my favorite.

This is not the Lulu's we remember. My wife and I use to get the pad thai and ramen bowls, and they are no longer on the menu. The items we ordered were not good replacements unfortunately. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't the Lulu's taste we loved and craved.
