Ordered the chicken momos with a side of white rice. Best I've had especially with the sauce.

First time back since I moved from Chicago and I was deeply disappointed. Flavorless, overcooked food, coupled with large groups of students with no regard for other diners.

One of the best in Evanston!

Really tasty food at a great price. The veggie samosa was wonderful. Order was enough for 2 full meals.

What a great experience with the food and service of this restaurant. I highly recommend people to visit this place for a real taste. The service of the servers was great. I have been served by Maaz.

The weekend buffet is fantastic. We go almost every weekend and it’s delicious, there are many gluten free options (including pakora). Best dish at the buffet is the mutter! The servers are

Excellent Indian food served quickly in nice setting. Portion sizes just right. Service is good. Spent a lot of time in India on business - not exactly like eating there but close enough.

OK, so food-wise? Banging. The veggie samosas are lovely, and the dips are amazing: a green cilantro-adjacent dip that is not TOO spicy, and a savory plum dip that's not too sweet. My Gosht Pasanda was mouth-watering and not spicy at ALL. (I ordered Spice Level 1, which is a step above their mildest option). My partner liked their Chicken Makhani (Spicy) and both the naan and roti were EXCELLENT. Lost a star because we only received one side of rice, which wasn't nearly enough (I'm thinking maybe they left one out of our to-go order accidentally?) and the portion sizes are fairly small for the $17-19 the cost (at least, compared to similar places with similarly-priced meals). We'll DEFINITELY be back, because OMG THE GOSHT PASANDA, but it will probably be more "special occasion" eatery than "I've got a hankering for Indian food - wanna grab lunch?" eatery.

Best roti I've ever eaten! All the dishes obviously made from fresh ingredients. The chefs are obviously talented. Every dish was delicious. The carrot halwa was better than anything I've experienced in India. I only suggest you have Indian music and not western jazz in the background. Definitely recommending to friends.
